We are post-product, prescale, and in fundraising right now.

This role will start as pure equity with deferred compensation and/or paid consultancy (this will lower equity %) until fundraising is complete which you will then convert to F/T with the advertised salary.

You will be the leader who builds one of the largest brands the world has ever seen over the next decade.

The VP of Marketing will work directly with the CEO and Executive Team on defining the demand-generating marketing strategies that will drive sales across Wurkzen’s multiple distribution channels. This role will be key in shaping the global future of the Wurkzen brand. The candidate will receive a competitive salary, bonus (up to 25%) and equity in the company to match their performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, test, and execute marketing strategies and demand generation across multiple products and distribution channels including direct sales and indirect sales.
  • Leverage online & print-based marketing campaigns and strategy for the continuous development and increasing awareness of the Wurkzen brand.
  • Define and execute marketing plans to exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage all digital marketing efforts of the organization and all of its products including social media and search campaigns while maintaining a strong ROI.
  • Develop marketing strategies and core messages for the brand's products. Plan, organize, and execute marketing communication to resellers, affiliates, and clients.
  • Create marketing outreach campaigns to potential reseller partners to rapidly grow our reseller base and Wurkzen subscriptions.
  • Manage reseller partners including KPIs, training, and ongoing touch bases to track reseller performance and further incentivize performance.

Requirements & Competencies

  • 10+ years of experience in software industries that have multiple diverse revenue models including direct sales, reseller/influencer sales, and strategic partner sales.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the full life cycle of a business, from launch all the way to exit.
  • Strong leadership and entrepreneurial mindset with a get-it-done mentality, empowering, enabling, and engaging employees to become motivated, autonomous, and engaged decision-making leaders of the company.
  • Global knowledge of a solid brand marketing mix, especially branding, content marketing, social media & influencer marketing, PR & collaborations with other brands.
  • Contagious excitement for growing the business as well as providing leadership to do so and strategically turning Wurkzen into a global renown brand.
