Network Community Managers are responsible for helping to define an effective engagement strategy and delivering operational support for our global Network communities. They serve the whole YPO member and spouse/partner community by engaging with them along their Networks journey. This position works across multiple networks and their communities of interest across four councils (Business, Personal, Family and Impact) to ensure optimal engagement.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as a key ambassador to Networks, engaging and activating participants and champions and encouraging conversations and connections throughout the Network and YPO community – mainly in a virtual environment.
• Constantly looking for new ways to bring the community closer within and across Networks, encouraging virtual participant-driven activation to shape the future of the community and other activity offerings.
• Assist in shaping the community experience for Network participants in alignment with the needs of the Network strategy and engagement strategy.
• Manage the day-to-day functionality of both the web and mobile Network platforms and related social media platforms, from planning and development to approvals and communication.
• Lead the creation of engaging content (written, visual, audio, video) in partnership with
members, Network Directors and Marketing leads.
• Work collaboratively with Network team to support and champion Network related projects, programs and goals.
• Partners with other internal stakeholders in the delivery of network events and activities.
EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
• Proven ability to live and work effectively with people from different backgrounds, cultures, and religions.
• Ideally 2+ years of experience in an association or membership organization and specifically involved with membership, governance/compliance management, marketing, social media management or events.
• Background in developing and executing on engagement strategies across multiple channels.
• Experience building relationships, and working with customers and colleagues in a global virtual environment.
• Project and/or account management a plus.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, business, marketing, organizational dynamics, project management, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a communications/marketing/account or project
management position.
• Negotiation or dispute resolution training or certification helpful.
• Experience with graphic design, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams Workgroups and Smartsheet is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Travel: Up to 10% Occasional (domestic and international) travel to YPO Network events
and/or team and strategy meetings.
• Work Hours: Adaptability and willingness to work flexible hours, to accommodate coworkers
and YPO members around the world.
