One of our Major Design clients is seeking an E-commerce Manager to join their team.
The Ecommerce Manager will oversee and manage the brand’s digital flagship and channels to create a best-in-class experience across all aspects of the customer lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will lead with a customer-first mindset, managing and optimizing our site and digital channels, positioning the brand for growth.
Responsibilities include: the day-to-day management of the site, seasonal and product launches, digital marketing, customer segmentation, email and collaboration with cross-functional teams (creative, design, production, planning, digital agency).
The right candidate will be analytically-driven and bring new ideas to support conversion and execute on channel specific tactics that align with the brand’s ethos and narrative; must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
● Manage the site experience, including navigation, product merchandising, functionality, search and checkout funnel
● Track and leverage key performance metrics regarding site traffic, conversion analysis, average order value and user behavior to guide action
● Monitor customer engagement and performance across different customer types and present insights
● Identify opportunities for site optimization and build roadmap for initiatives
● Track and resolve technical issues on site related to data feeds, product, pricing, promotions, content, orders, third party integrations, etc.
● Build sales forecast, align with marketing budget, partner with leadership team to manage forecast
● Responsible for product life-cycle management from sales launch through to maturity and decline
● Manage the setup and maintenance of merchandise and site content, including product setup, page builds, asset uploads
● Actively monitor daily data flow between front end, order management, and internal systems; working with appropriate partners to resolve any discrepancies and issues.
● Manage relationship and site initiatives with external web development partner
● Develop seasonal product marketing calendar & manage site to align with product plan & overarching marketing strategy and customer lifecycle
● Partner with digital agency to drive growth across all paid channels (PPC, SEO, Social, Affiliate, WOM and Influencer Marketing)
● Maximize online revenue and ROI generated by digital marketing programs by increasing customer retention and acquiring customers within acquisition cost goals
● Lead the strategy and content planning for email and sms campaigns and triggered journeys in relation to the product and customer lifecycles driving growth
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (brand and creative, design, production) to project manage content creation, ensuring site and campaign deadlines are met across site content, paid ads, email and SMS
● Evaluate channel performance and sales against goals, providing reporting and insight to the team weekly, monthly and quarterly
● Analyze customer behavior and provide insights and opportunities to better engage and service the customer
Skills & Experience
● Fluent with Shopify and Klaviyo
● Driven by data-informed approach and building customer relationships
● Strong analytics and Excel skills
● Proficient in Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics
● Experience with online performance measurement and attribution models
● Comprehensive knowledge of paid performance and SEO
● Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize insights and suggest recommended actions
● Strength in building and fostering relationship with key partners
● Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt and move quickly in a changing environment
