Manager, Digital Media Marketing
The American Crew and CND Marketing Team is looking for someone to serve in the evolving role of Digital and eCommerce Manager. Reporting into the Sr. Director, Digital, Media and Communications this person is responsible for the strategic vision and execution of digital across B2C, B2B and E-Com.
The Manager of Digital and Media will own, and digital media paid and owned and earned & digital commerce, with defined ROI growth targets, analysis, and portfolio management. This leader will drive digital growth across various consumer and professional touchpoints and journeys, inclusive of paid marketing channels, search, social, & programmatic.
The Manager will leverage various channels to drive the awareness, consideration, acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue goals. This role will lead all commerce (owned & operated, retailer third party), Websites, and drive partner stores including Amazon and Ulta. Working closely with all cross functional teams to build the digital business to meet the strategic goals of the brands.
For our Amazon business the Digital Manager is the key point of contact for media, search & discoverability, best in class PDP, consumer journey and more. Social Commerce is an innovative opportunity combining the everchanging world of social media to drive sales through engagement with consumers.
The Digital Media Manager will be partnering with the respective brands and cross functional teams on all necessary strategies, implementation, and optimizations across both initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of all digital channels (including but not limited to owned brand.com, B2B D2C, and B2C e-commerce, digital media, social, mobile etc).
- Oversee strategy and creation of digital content and growth of digital media platforms and communities.
- Creates the strategy and implementation of how digital content integrates into the overall marketing and communications strategy.
- Partners with Brand, PR, Influencer, and agencies to plan digital and paid social content guiding the strategic plan that outlines the objectives, goals, strategies, and tactics.
- Develops digital and campaign specific KPIs and benchmarks.
- Assists with the creation of digital content (ex. static, animated and short-video content).
Essential Skills
- Strong digital and e-commerce background with experience leading owned and operated commerce platforms, as well as leading third-party commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon).
- Demonstrated ability to create and drive innovative and engaging content/digital platforms.
- Strong strategic background creating and implementing successful media and marketing campaigns.
- Ability to view future trends in digital and social media platforms to effectively keep media strategy engaging and forward thinking in the consistently changing marketplace.
- Demonstrate ability to show accountability of Digital Strategy and its direct impact on the business.
- Demonstrate clear, direct communication style, with the ability to lead and educate Senior Management on current and future digital trends.
- Ability to both analyze digital trends and drive consumer feedback as well as execute against it and take actionable steps.
- The candidate must be a self-starter who can work well individually, at the same time, thrive in a more complex cross-divisional, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, and work within strict deadlines, project management to successfully roll out these new content initiatives that drive value for customers.
- Must be able to coordinate and communicate across larger and cross-functional teams inclusive of marketing, site operations, creative/copy and editorial

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years; experience in digital marketing and commerce
- Experience across multiple digital channels, included but not limited to .com, e-commerce, digital media, social, mobile, and more
- Prior experience in beauty/personal care industry preferred.
