About The Role

The Assistant Brand Manager of Retail Marketing on the Skincare team supports development of category brand strategy for our retail business. You will ensure touch points for all base and new products are managed to completion while establishing meaningful relationships with retail partners.

You will report to the Brand Manager of Retail Skincare.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with teams in Korea, and North America to review strategy and execution of skincare brands
  • Manage marketing budget and advertising spend
  • Develop agency relationships to ensure all deliverables are aligned with product launch timelines
  • Present monthly reports and marketing plans to cross functional teams
  • Partner with global marketing teams in Korea to launch new products from conception to distribution
  • Manage retailer accounts and strengthen brand exposure by overseeing all related marketing strategies including visual Merchandising, sampling, new launches and promotional calendars
  • Expand knowledge about industry trends and provide product development insight
  • Oversee promotional calendars and approve materials for new launches and promotions
  • Work with sales teams on in-store events and provide in-store support to retail teams to promote sales
  • Oversee execution of consumer and retailer events

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of corporate marketing experience in the beauty industry
  • 3+ years of experience working with Major US retailers
  • 3+ years of experience on growth/performance marketing, managing influencer partnerships, and/or partnered with agencies to develop digital campaigns, manage advertising spend, partner with influencers, and obtain content approval
  • Success delivering budget, product sampling, marketing and sales reports to executive leadership
