Social Content Lead: Food & Recipes
Gallery Media Group is a rapidly growing digital media company whose mission is to “make positivity louder.” Its three key sectors include:
- Media + Publishing: PureWow, a women’s lifestyle brand; ONE37pm, a men’s lifestyle brand at the intersection of culture, music, NFTs and sports; and a collection of premium podcast shows that includes the GaryVee Audio Experience, Mom Brain, In House with Arielle Charnas, Royally Obsessed and The CMO Podcast with Jim Stengel.
- Social Portfolio: 50+ owned + operated accounts across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, including running TikTok accounts for brand partners
- Talent and Influencer Arm: Strategy and activations ranging from celebrity partnerships and stunts to year long ambassadorships and campaign work across platforms and categories
We are looking for a social content lead to help develop, implement and execute social media strategy across platforms for our food brands @cocktails and @recipes.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in social media management and video content creation within the digital media industry. You will work across multiple teams to understand how to best reach new audiences and drive growth efforts.

Experience:
- Proven experience building social media audiences and brands, especially on TikTok, Instagram & YouTube
- 3-5 years working for an agency, digital publisher, and/or relevant brand
- Proven experience in social content creation and strategy in the food space
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- You will be a proven creative and data-driven thinker who understands the importance of both art and science when it comes to social content success
- Bonus: You have experience with recipe development
Responsibilities:
- You will develop a content strategy and original programming for the @recipes and @cocktails Instagram & TikTok handles and assist in content creation as needed
- You will work alongside the the SVP, Content & Growth + the Director of Social Strategy to develop a roadmap to grow our audience and presence in the food space
- You will work with our sales and brand marketing teams to develop social-first franchises across and IP and accommodate client needs and campaigns
- You will manage 2x social strategists/content creators
- Produce and present regular reporting, inclusive of detailed content analysis and strategic recommendations
- You will keep a constant pulse on social platforms and help develop content strategy insights and pivots
