Who You Are:
As Spirion’s VP of People, you will have responsibility for managing the Human Resources function and acting as the top people strategist. We are seeking a dynamic, agile, and experienced HR leader to direct, organize and prioritize our People initiatives while supporting our strategic growth plan. Our People strategy is focused on the employee lifecycle, with specific focus on talent attraction, talent retention, onboarding, employee engagement, career development and the employee experience. This role is expected to provide creative and insightful solutions to critical HR issues and advise other members of the executive team accordingly. The ideal candidate is driven to grow and scale a thriving and maturing tech start up, demonstrating accountability to business results while also being scrappy and hands-on as needed in a startup environment.
What You Will Be Doing?
- Consults, develops and implements programs and initiatives aligned to business strategy such as: employee value proposition, DEI, total rewards, talent management, career development, employee engagement and leadership development.
- Builds and leads the HR team responsible for the employee experience, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and talent operations.
- Acts as a trusted advisor and strategic collaborator, influencer, and partner to the Spirion executive team regarding leadership, team performance and organizational effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors on our People strategies and initiatives
- Plan, guide, develop, coordinate, and implement change management activities including training, communications, career pathing, and engagement surveys via Officevibe to support the organization’s strategic people needs
- Using a data driven approach, administer human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; as well as training and development
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs across the business and develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and strategy to senior leadership
- Using metrics, evaluate HR and business performance against targets, strategic goals and expectations
- Oversees all aspects of employee benefits and rewards including partnership with external brokers, design and implementation of benefit plans, and coordination as needed with finance and operations on benefits-related work.
- Experienced with proactively managing risk with employment practices. Follows and is compliant with all local, state and federals laws and regulations.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelors' degree required
- Minimum 10 years of progressive human resources or related leadership experience
- Prior experience leading HR in a SaaS or Cybersecurity
- Experience in all aspects of HR management within a growth stage business
- Experience with compensation strategies
- Experience with reporting to Boards of Directors
- Senior HR certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems (e.g., Paylocity)

- Proven experience developing and executing a People strategy including anticipating and interpreting changes, both internal and external to the Company

- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to rapidly develop and cultivate relationships with peers, partners, and key influencers
- Strong business partnering, influencing, and ability to drive process improvements in a high growth, start-up/scale-up environment
