We’re looking for a Community Marketing Associate with a passion for health and wellness to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is hyper-organized, creative, and possesses a can-do attitude. The right candidate will also be excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment and loves to collaborate cross-functionally. Candidates should have a firm grasp of trends and strategies in social media, content marketing, affiliate marketing, and influencer partnerships. This person will play an integral role in growing Further Food’s top-of-funnel activities and acquisition marketing.

Reporting to the Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager, you will be part of a dynamic startup team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, expand their expertise, and grow in a variety of different marketing disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Marketing:

  • Create original content (i.e. videos, memes, photos, and creative graphics) to be shared across various social media platforms.
  • Own community engagement across all social channels, fielding and responding to social queries with a strong sense of urgency in collaboration with Customer Success Associate and Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager. Engage with like-minded brands, influencers, and the Further Food community.
  • Own scheduling and posting of content across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Build and maintain relationships with like-minded brands for social media giveaways and partnerships.
  • Stay abreast of the latest social media trends and best practices, keeping a pulse on current events and culturally relevant moments.

Influencer & Affiliate Marketing:

  • Prospect and identify up-and-coming Instagram creators, bloggers, YouTube channels, and healthcare professionals to add to our growing influencer and affiliate programs.
  • Support relationship management with external partners, including health experts, brand peers, influencers, affiliates, and media partners.
  • Support the growth and management of our affiliate program; finding fresh and innovative ways to recruit and keep affiliates engaged.

General Marketing:

  • Develop proactive tactics to increase brand awareness through strategic partnerships (i.e. events, gifting, and sampling).
  • Assist in the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives on digital and social platforms - from development through implementation and tracking. Including written, visual, and video content that communicates key brand messages.
  • Coordinate with marketing and creative teams to produce editorial assets, source contributors, and upload editorial content to our website.
  • Assist with marketing projects and events as assigned, including general admin and research.
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and tracking of KPIs for marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of prior marketing experience; start-up and DTC experience a plus
  • Highly creative, with experience and skills in photography, design, video creation and editing; Experience with tools such as Canva.
  • Ability to write, edit and tell engaging stories
  • Experience in Shopify, Google Analytics, Later, Klaviyo preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-starter who can take ownership and initiative with little oversight
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with remote team members
  • Passionate about Further Food and our products
