Job Description
We are in search of a Social Media Producer to join our in-house Creative Studio. Reporting to the VP, Head of Creative Studio, you will work closely on creating daily, talent-driven social media videos for all social platforms. You will be responsible for finding talent, booking and producing all social content videos, as well as working on our existing products and new initiatives.
The Creative Studio Creates, Designs and Produces all content that lives on our platform including Videos, Photography, Infographics, Data Visualizations, Design Graphics and Audio. We are an integrated department so a strong desire to learn, collaborate and iterate on your skill set are pivotal. Creative Producers within the studio have a strong creative voice, and help influence the writing, design and production of all our content, you will have the opportunity to help shape our work and creative direction and see your work have a real world impact.
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity based in our NYC office (hybrid schedule).
Responsibilities include:
- Source social media content creators and handle end-to-end process from search and contract negotiation through delivery.
- Partner with the creative team with new production partners, artists, directors, photographers, casting, ways of executing ideas, and present best options for each project.
- Manage video editors, animators, audio engineers and VFX Artists to bring a project from start to finish.
- Collaborate with other producers and project managers to communicate project status, risks, issues, concerns and keeping track of date from start to finish.
- Other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in production management operations at a creative studio, post-production company, media company or design firm working with social media content creators.
- Prior experience as an integrated producer in TV, photography, film, digital, video, or social.
- Possesses broad knowledge of mainstream and emerging social media platforms and how to use them efficiently. This includes terms of service and tone.
- A keen eye for recognizing talent across many disciplines – including, but not limited to, directors, DP’s, illustrators, animators, editors, musicians, talent, experiential partners, and influencer networks.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, problem solver.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
- Experience with high-volume social, always on or news driven content production.
- Flexible and adaptable with changing content.

- US work authorization (All applicants must possess proper US work eligibility and authorization documents)
Additional Information
Compensation range: US$ 350 - US$ 400 per day (based on an 8-hour work day).
