Associate Manager, Social Media Title Marketing (Nat Geo)

We are searching for an Associate Manager, Social Media Title Marketing to help lead our social campaigns for National Geographic films and television series. A successful candidate will be responsible for handling social title campaigns from production to launch – with best-in-class creative social stunts, community strategies, as well as creative asset development and delivery. You will report to the Sr Manager, Social Media Title Marketing and work very closely with the entire social team and the broader marketing organization.
Responsibilities
- Creative high-impact social campaigns for assigned titles, working closely with counterparts across marketing functions, in order to drive viewership of Nat Geo content across linear and streaming platforms
- Communicate social strategy, campaign voice, platform strategy, and creative rollout through share-ou presentations and on-sheets – evolving tactics throughout each campaign as new data emerges.
- Manage creative development of social-first creative assets through the pipeline including giving creative direction and notes, along with securing final approvals and sign-off.
- Work closely with counterparts across marketing to creative high impact moments around title debuts – including announcements, trailers, press, etc.
- Partner with the broader marketing title teams on talent social training, on-set social capture, live social media event coverage, digital activations, digital paid media creative, influencer activations, etc.
- Advise on, communicate and implement best social media practices and cultural landscape as it pertains to the title.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of social media marketing experience
- A demonstrated understanding of social platform tools and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and others.
- A team-first, collaborative mentality.
- Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
