The Role:

The Brand Director contributes to the company’s success by developing and executing marketing strategy and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to promote the company’s success. The Brand Director has a thorough understanding of brand positioning as the foundation to brand building and communication initiatives. The Brand Director lives the company’s core value of taking care of our own – our coworkers, our friends, and our neighbors.

Essential functions:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans including, promotions, new product launches, visual merchandising, sampling and in-store activation
  • Oversee event and consumer promotional strategy, agencies, budgets and execution
  • Prioritization of, planning for and investment in geographic, channel (subcategories of both on and off-premise), variant and size mix strategies
  • Develop and manage agency and content creator relationships while holding them accountable for agreed upon KPIs
  • Own specific innovation initiatives, validating their feasibility, continuously assessing their viability in the marketplace, and steering them through the development processes
  • Establish a collaborative environment amongst International Marketing teams to ensure relevance of our programs, to support best practice sharing and to drive efficiency in marketing execution
  • Oversee social media strategy and content via agency
  • Develop programming and tools for the National Sales team

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of marketing experience in consumer products
  • Spirits experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
  • Exemplary analytical skills. Ability to identify the full story and define implications from data analysis (can readily identify insights in shipments/depletions/consumption data and translate to action)
  • Forward thinker, who proactively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Ability to lead and manage projects with cross-functional teams as well as throughout the company and distributor network
  • Team-oriented player that thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to function effectively in an entrepreneurial fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
  • Deadline-oriented self-starter who is proactive and holds themselves to high standard quality of work

Additional Information:

  • Must be eligible for work in the US
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Salary up to $160,000 annually DOE
  • Position is remote, with schedule based in Pacific time zone
  • Relocation assistance is not currently offered
