We're looking for a Social Media Videographer to play a key role in the overall growth and development of our brand by facilitating and executing filming for our social media accounts. As the Branding team works to significantly increase the output of engaging social media assets, the Social Media Videographer will be a pivotal player in making that a reality. You will be the person behind the camera capturing all of our Social Media content. The right person for this role will be extremely organized, creative, and motivated to deliver innovative work for the Cydcor brand. You will work closely with the CEO and Branding team to manage the development and execution of content shoots.

Essential Duties:

  • Film, shoot and organize photo and video content for all social media platforms
  • Facilitate content calendar, partnering with the CEO, Leadership & Branding teams to ensure we are capturing all relevant content happening in our business
  • Create content optimized for social with careful attention to trends and thinking outside of the box to represent the brand’s unique vision and voice
  • Interview top executives on camera to bring out the full Cydcor story- past, present and future
  • Partner closely with our 3rd party branding firm to deliver content, review edits and facilitate Branding team review and approval
  • Monitor all social platforms for replies, comments and general sentiment. Work with the Branding team to craft responses when necessary and report up general sentiment to the CEO.
  • Coordinate and ensure that all legal agreements for productions and general operations are fully executed
  • Continually discover and implement new filming technologies, video concepts and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Experience in photo and video shoot production or in developing creative work for digital media. Bonus points if you have social media content you can share with us
  • Experience creating, editing, and optimizing social-first content is a plus
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and up to date on industry + platform trends
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premier Pro
  • High-level creative judgement and an eye for quality, taste and style
  • Excellent project management skills, exceptional communication and organization
  • Flexible and solution oriented. May be asked to work outside standard business hours as shoot needs arise
  • Extremely organized, proactive, comfortable taking the lead, and able to understand and pivot when priorities shift
  • Ability to direct talent on set when needed
  • High emotional intelligence - ability to give and receive constructive criticism
  • The role has the potential to grow into a full social media management position, so the ability to manipulate raw material into finished content (primarily for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) with captions, elements, audio effects, music, transitions, emojis, etc, is a huge plus.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a hybrid position. Travel is 50% of the time, capturing social events, leadership activity, and other team-building events.
