Hurom is seeking a Marketing Director for our North American subsidiary based in New York City.
We're looking for an experienced marketing professional who will lead all of our e-commerce growth initiatives in North America. In this role, you will have full P&L ownership of our websites (hurom.com, hurom.ca). You will start by leading a small marketing team and multiple agencies, and will scale up the team as needed to hit our growth targets. This role will be a key pillar of our success reporting into the COO/General Manager of North America.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media
- Lead full funnel paid digital advertising across channels including Facebook, Google, Bing, and TikTok.
- Oversee media budgets optimized towards driving ROI in our paid media strategy and report on Marketing P&L.
- Manage & lead relationships with our media agencies ensuring they are properly briefed and tracking towards KPI’s executing paid social, search, and PR.
Ecommerce / SEO
- Manage all site merchandising and site content across site to achieve business targets; manage Shopify sites by uploading product descriptions, images and artwork.
- Own website set up for homepage, products, collections, landing pages and blogs, and provide ongoing support with daily maintenance as needed.
- Implement effective web merchandising strategies: product categorization, on-site search results, cross-sell, up-sell.
- Partner with an SEO agency to build titles, metatags, product descriptions with strong SEO strategy to improve organic rankings on search engines.
Creative / Email
- Partner with Graphic Designer to build and develop content optimized for each channel.
- Work with freelancers to regularly produce photos and videos for marketing assets.
- Produce regular email campaigns with recipe/lifestyle content and promotional messaging.
- Manage an email calendar and drive successful email campaigns (automated, newsletter, AB tests) and monitor performance.
Social / Influencer & Affiliate
- Own all organic social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube) and produce new content for posting; set up a social media calendar and monitor performance.
- Supervise affiliate programs using affiliate platforms.
- Drive influencer partnerships by facilitating inbound/outbound inquiries and often working with the PR agency for influencer partnerships.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing/performance marketing and P&L management of ecommerce websites.
- Experience scaling growth from 10M -> 30M+. Experience scaling a consumer products brand is a huge plus.
- Experience managing multi-product media campaigns balancing customer overlap and maximizing ROI.
- Proven track record managing budgets & driving high ROI campaigns.
- An eye for design and appreciation / understanding of brand building.
- Must be extremely comfortable with analyzing complex data sets, commissioning reporting & research, writing post-campaign summaries, and partnering with agencies to build business critical-dashboards.
- Balance of performance and brand media planning using full funnel media tactics in all digital channels.
- Experience across the whole Digital Media landscape especially Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Google Ads, Bing.
- Equal parts strategic and hands-on. Must adjust altitude and roll up sleeves to get the job done.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
