Free People began its journey in 1970, in a modest West Philadelphia storefront, offering plants and records, along with a few pieces of clothing. Though the name was changed to Urban Outfitters just a year later, Free People was revived as the company’s wholesale label in 1984. And it hasn’t looked back since.

The eclectic assortment quickly assembled behind it a fiercely loyal fan base, and this fueled the opening of FP’s first brick-and-mortar store in Paramus, NJ in 2002, along with the birth of freepeople.com in 2004, and the first mail-order catalog, which arrived in homes during the summer of 2005.

All the while, Free People has dedicated its energies to building a close-knit relationship with the FP community and continues to seek out new ways to foster and elevate this unique and meaningful bond.

Influencer Marketing Associate Manager - Affiliate

Reports to

Associate Director – Brand Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, manage and activate new affiliate influencer campaigns and optimize current affiliate marketing performance
  • Plan, book, and manage promotional campaigns with potential partners, influencers, and media companies.
  • Implement initiatives that will generate user growth and positive sentiment for the business through social influencer channels
  • Source, discover and establish influencer relationships to align and support with company business goals
  • Vet potential influencer and influencer platforms to ensure they meet established criteria including brand alignment, content quality, promotional tactics, etc. and make recommendations accordingly
  • Analyze and leverage data-based insights on performance and competitive landscape to innovate offerings within the influencer world
  • Work cross-functionally to successfully implement new campaigns, materials, and content for Influencer/Affiliate marketing programs.
  • Examine existing programs from a strategic standpoint; contribute new ideas about how to optimize initiatives.
  • Optimize marketing budgets and drive investment strategy within Affiliate and Influencer relationships

Job Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in Affiliate and influencer marketing
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment
  • Experience collaborating and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet business goals
  • Ability to analyze channel data and turn into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Passion for digital, staying on top of the changing ecosystem including advertising formats, channels, and technologies
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Positive, can-do, problem-solving attitude, purposeful, but ability to have fun, etc.
  • An innate curiosity and ability to breakdown complex analyses into concise, straightforward recommendations and marketing initiatives
  • A collaborative, ‘team-first’ attitude and a leadership style that prioritizes career and personal development

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
