Overview
The Manager of Paid Media is responsible for managing paid media campaigns aimed at acquiring new Home Chef customers through our e-commerce subscription line of business. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management, tactical execution, testing, and optimization of various paid media channels with a focus on paid social. The ideal candidate has experience at a performance marketing agency or e-commerce brand managing direct response campaigns adhering to strict CPA goals.
Responsibilities
Management of paid social channels (Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest):
- Fully own daily management and optimization of Facebook, Snapchat and Pinterest paid media campaigns adhering to strict spend and CPA goals
- Improve efficiencies through daily optimizations related to bid, budget, targeting and creative adjustments
- Create and own testing roadmap to proactively test and learn through A/B tests
- Own operational tasks (creative upload, launching new campaigns, setting up A/B tests)
- Collaborate with Facebook, Snapchat and Pinterest reps to stay up to date on new ad products, betas,, planning new tests
- Plan and run incremental lift studies to determine and improve incremental CPA
- Provide thought leadership and collaborate with internal stakeholders from Brand, Creative, Product and Analytical department to share and obtain learnings to better manage and optimize paid social channels
- Update recurring daily, weekly and monthly dashboards and performance reports
Test And Manage New Paid Media Channels
- Identify new paid media channels to test and scale
- Oversee process from end to end in planning, launching, building out, managing and optimizing new paid media channels
- Manage day-to-day tactical execution and overall strategy of additional channels ensuring accurate spend pacing and optimizing toward primary CPA metrics
- Identify and launch tests in new paid media channels
- Plan and run incremental lift studies to determine and improve incremental CPA
- Update recurring daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and performance reports
Qualifications

- 2 years of experience in performance marketing management at an agency or e-commerce/CPG company
- 2 years of experience managing direct response paid media campaigns in Facebook optimizing toward customer acquisition
- Experience managing Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, Taboola and/or Outbrain a plus
- Experience managing display and/or paid search a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Advanced Formulas)
- Analytical mindset and comfortable working with large amounts of data
- Ability to hit deadlines, manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously across numerous channels
- Own testing roadmap including planning, ideation and execution of channel A/B tests
- Comfortable operating independently and autonomously fully owning various paid media channels
- Ability to collaborate with other internal teams (Brand, Analytics, Product, Influencer Marketing and Creative) to support and improve paid media advertising efforts
