ABOUT THE ROLE
CUUP seeks a Social & Community Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience in social and community management, attention to detail, is passionate about all things social, and can translate learnings into social content recommendations. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of social media strategy and planning, concentrating on publishing and growing our CUUP Community – reporting directly to the Senior Social Media Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Senior Social Media Manager on strategy, planning, and execution of brand marketing initiatives across social media channels through content storytelling, to ensure a consistent brand message, increase brand awareness, grow audience, and drive engagement.
- Maintain social content calendar to promote new launches, events, and brand initiatives in alignment with overarching social strategy.
- Day-to-day management and maintenance of ALL social platforms ( Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter), including publishing 7 days per week.
- Identify trends in community feedback, share findings with the Senior Social Media Manager, and interact with our community across our social channels, proactively identifying customer service opportunities and engaging with existing and potential customers.
- Support content development process, including but not limited to briefing, tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner with the brand communications team to identify community members for potential influencer relationships or content creation opportunities.
- Assist Senior Social Media Manager in analyzing, measuring, and reporting on social media performance, identifying and actioning opportunities on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Support rights management for user-generated content, presenting imagery or video that aligns with CUUP’s brand aesthetic and values.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You have 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing within fashion or lifestyle for a consumer product brand.
- You are collaborative, helpful, flexible, and solution-oriented.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to balance multiple projects on parallel timelines required.
- You're fluent in social media and have a strong awareness of what's trending in different channels—and a strong radar for what's coming next.
- Both creative and analytical. You love participating in every stage of strategic content creation, from conceptualization to execution.
- You are experienced in publishing content to Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.
- Well-versed in digital media and social media metrics and monitoring tools (Sprout, Later, Hootsuite, Dash Hudson, etc)
- Experience managing customer relations, community management and understanding of how social channels impact corporate reputation (preferred).
