ISSA Needs a Health & Wellness Division Brand GM

What’s The Job?

You create and implement business growth strategies for the newly created Health and Wellness certification / vertical market at ISSA. You will create and execute sales strategies, advertising, and promotional campaigns and will plan and implement sales programs to drive the growth of this product line. You will be the subject matter expert and drive key markets, innovation and brand equities in this vertical. You will be responsible for owning the full P&L for this product by managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of the vertical.

  • Collaborating to Create and Drive Customer Funnel: Partner with marketing to determine, drive and execute on key marketing initiatives and “sales specials” to drive customer volume; Offer creative marketing opportunities to engage potential customer base.
  • Work on weekly and monthly reports: Provide and audit the weekly and monthly revenue reports via CRM, revenue trackers and PowerBI.
  • Connecting + Engaging with Prospects: Proactively reaching out to existing and new opportunities, as well as maintaining and leveraging those who have purchased from ISSA in the past.
  • Innovate and Problem Solve: As the category leader, you’re the innovator and problem solver. Tactfully “disrupt” to find solutions and ways to expedite change, with the purpose of optimizing growth and execution speed.
  • Achieving Sales Goals: Hitting key sales goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis (goals defined below).
  • Managing the Sales Process: Implement a value based sales approach to lead the Health Education Advisors to achieve and surpass monthly quota goals and activity metrics.
  • Liaison with all groups: Process quotes, invoices, and monies to bring in enrollments and funds. Work hand in hand with distributors to meet the needs of students.
  • Demonstrating and Enhancing the Company Purpose and Culture: Driving forward with passion the company core belief that healthy living improves lives; Helping potential students achieve their education and career goals.
  • Define the “brand”: Further develop the brand strategy, archetype, partner strategy and community strategy. Ensure plans and activities align with the brand and company macro strategy
  • Facilitate Affiliates and Influencers: In conjunction with our marketing dept; scout, select, appoint and prime relevant influencer(s) that speak the narrative of the brand to generate interest and help optimize leads.
  • Embrace growth: Responsible for high growth of new verticals. Use traditional and guerrilla marketing tactics to innovate and expedite change and growth

What is ISSA looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience in a health and wellness B2C sales environment
  • Prior experience with full ownership of a P&L
  • Prior leadership experience including management of an inside sales team
  • Proven results in a B2C sales environment
  • Experience and comfort interacting with a diverse and global customer base
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Assertive and results-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to and enhance a positive culture of success and growth
