This position creates and coordinates all digital marketing materials for LYRASIS, including email marketing, organic and paid social media, short form videos, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and other marketing products as needed. The Content Creator works within the Member Communications team to build and deploy digital content based on an annual marketing plan, and designs content campaigns to meet Lyrasis awareness and conversion goals. In addition, the Content Creator is solely responsible for online social media engagement. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Duties/Job Responsibilities:
- Management of LYRASIS social channels, including content creation, community engagement, and growth metrics
- Content management and creation for lyrasis.org website, based on organizational needs and SEO goals
- Creation of digital marketing campaigns to strengthen the brand profile of LYRASIS
- Manage and meet digital marketing budget
- Author and distribute regular email communications including newsletters
- Target and re-target LYRASIS members for email campaigns through segmentation and lifecycle analysis
- Design ROI-driven digital campaigns to maximize budget
- Identify and deploy technology tools to optimize digital campaign effectiveness
- Conduct keyword search and targeting to support SEO
- Conduct A/B testing for message, design, audience, channel and format
- Analyze and report on campaign effectiveness
- Create and coordinate marketing materials and digital marketing assets to support business goals of LYRASIS divisions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills, including managing multiple interests simultaneously
- Experience running metrics-driven digital marketing plans
- Demonstrated experience creating and deploying digital campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Experience with social channels, SEO, organic and paid search and digital advertising best practices and workflows that drive measurable actions, lower CPM and higher impressions
- Ability to design creative content for diverse channels including video, carousel, stories and more
- Creative insights and ideas for innovative marketing approaches
- Good working knowledge of marketing and communications best practices

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Two+ years in digital marketing
- High fluency with social and digital marketing
- Background in libraries strongly preferred

- Travel for LYRASIS events, national conferences and professional development
