About the role
The Influencer offering is the fastest growing part of the 180NY office. We think of influencers as part of the brand community, part of the idea, not a media channel or spokesperson. Our offering includes mega, macro, micro and makers. This role will champion our expertise with clients and Omnicom, serve as the senior most lead to develop processes and innovate as the influencer environment continues to evolve. This role will also work closely with our in-house studio team to ideate and build the influencer kits, swag, gifts.
Main responsibilities
- Independently manage the Influencer and Maker offering within 180NY with minimal oversight to lead and drive the business forward strategically.
- Identify the right people, develop authentic ideas and guide the influencer to deliver creative excellence.
- Be actively engaged in the social media space, obsessively a trend hunter and able to organize complex systems within a large organization.
- Participate in the creative process and partner with the creative strategist as part of identifying the most culturally relevant talent.
- Organize the legal, financial and ongoing management of influencers.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, grow our business or help our clients.
- Understand, navigate and solve the complexities of influencer contracts and payment systems in conjunction with the Business Affairs team
Key qualifications and/or experience
- Previous experience as an entrepreneur or in a start-up environment is critical to help increase likelihood for success and integrating into the team
- Obsessively curious about trends, those creating and curating culture and able to identify those people to help address client business needs.
- Must have deep knowledge of the standard contractual terms and financial structures.
- Must be comfortable in a start-up environment, willing to pivot and move quickly. Flex and stretch into untraditional opportunities.
The annual salary range for this role is $115,000-$130,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location and experience.
