Groove Science Studios is the creator of Soundscape: The Musical Metaverse, a groundbreaking music platform that allows for cross-play in virtual reality and on a PC. Soundscape is available now, for FREE, through Steam and Oculus game stores. This Metaverse has been in development in for nearly a decade, it's not vaporware, it's a fully functioning software platform that represents tens of thousands of hours of development and creativity.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the right candidate to fulfill our in-house Corporate Development role. This candidate should be well versed in acquisitions, divestitures, joint-venture deals, and partnerships interally at our company. You will also be required to conduct industry research, map out markets, and work on post-deal integrations. You should have high level experience in at least one of the following categories; music & entertainment, technology, or gaming. This role may also be responsible for seeking out financial partnerships that are beneficial to the long term growth of our business.

Qualifications

In addition to above, this candidate will also be responsible for the following: deal sourcing, deal analysis, financial modeling and valuation, deal integrations, and a few miscellaneous tasks as it pertains to those main responsibilities.

Salary will be dependent upon experience. This is a veteran role within the company, you should have no less than ten years of expereince in either of the above mentioned industries or roles. You should bring with you, a deep rolodex of contacts and resources. We are open to supplemental compensation should any direct investments or partnerships come to fruition on behalf of your efforts. Everything is negotiable.

Salary: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
