Rare Beauty Brands, an award-winning indie beauty brand incubator, is looking for an experienced Influencer & PR Manager to help increase brand awareness and generate buzz for its Patchology and Dr. Dana brands. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the beauty space, has established relationships with influencers and agencies and is excited to be part of a fast-growing and forward-thinking company. Main priorities will be managing our ambassador programs, building our organic influencer roster, executing paid influencer campaigns, and assisting with global PR needs. This role will report into the VP of Marketing.

Rare Beauty Brands is based in the Boston suburbs but operates as a work-from-anywhere company (within the U.S). Some travel may be required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Brand Ambassador Programs: Strengthen and grow the Patchology long-term ambassador program and build a Dr. Dana ambassador program
  • Influencer Discovery: Maintain and expand influencer database Relationship-Building: Foster current relationships and establish new ones through regularly interacting with influencers on social media, in person and via phone/email
  • Paid Campaigns: Concept and execute creative and impactful influencer campaigns for product launches and hero SKUs, including influencer selection, contract negotiations, and management of assets
  • Analytics: Track relevant KPIs and create campaign recaps that use data analytics to help evaluate success and produce key learnings
  • Be An Expert: Understand the influencer and PR landscape, including staying on top of trends and new platforms
  • Public Relations: Act as key liaison between brands and US PR agencies and assist with international PR requests
  • Content Creation: Partner closely with Social Media Manager on creator content
  • Leadership Development: Help manage marketing interns

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in influencer marketing, ideally within the beauty and/or lifestyle space
  • Established relationships with influencers, content creators and talent agencies and proven track record with campaigns that move the needle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly creative while also being able to think critically and analytically
  • Team player who is willing to wear multiple hats (as needed) in a startup environment
  • Serious about achieving results but also serious about having fun at work every day
