The Manager of Marketing and Digital is responsible for creating a 360-marketing calendar and support its strategy for achieved market growth. The Manager of Marketing understands the brand needs and provides strategy, leadership, vision, and infrastructure support for the growth achievement set for Jurlique U.S. while ensuring all strategies and initiatives ladder appropriately back to both the brand and corporate strategies/ equities. The Manager of Marketing and Digital is to be a marketing leader who is responsible for the development of brand strategy and annual marketing plans, alongside a direct team of brand managers that executes them, all working together to achieve the brand goals. The Manager of Marketing and Digital is required to understand their brand offerings, as well as their target audience, and see to it that projects are completed on time and on budget. Extensive marketing experience and a comprehensive knowledge of branding is a must. An ability to lead and set KPIs with third-party agencies is also critical. A passionate and creative leader with experience in all facets of marketing, to include developing strategies for existing brands, leading innovation for new brands, and core competencies in digital marketing and e-commerce is required.

  • Create, own and lead a 360-Marketing calendar for the U.S. and support its strategy to achieve market share growth - 24 months marketing planning
  • Own all aspects of the prestige direct site for Jurlique, Amazon marketing/digital and SPA marketing/digital
  • Develop marketing presentations for Amazon, prestige direct and SPA including go-to-market strategy for all key launches, innovation and sales
  • Liaise with the global brand consumer engagement team to evaluate new and innovative capabilities and channels. Adapt global programs to enhance USA Jurlique marketing
  • Create long term and short-term strategies to drive growth via new customer acquisition and customer engagement for Amazon, prestige direct, SPA’s and future brick and mortar
  • Use data and insights while creating materials/metrics to create a deep understanding of the drivers of customer purchase behavior (acquisition) and customer activation (engagement) and translate those insights into innovative customer campaigns and promotions
  • Identify optimal sales channels and form critical retail partnerships to achieve sales targets
  • Increase e-commerce sales through product marketing, targeting, and marketing strategy
  • Shape marketing and brand messaging to further promote Jurlique’s high quality products and mission
  • Partner with operations on warehouse inventory, top sku’s and orders
  • Contribute to product improvement efforts by leveraging consumer feedback, sales performance data, and industry trends
  • Oversee marketing spend and digital assets to guarantee return on investment
  • Lead robust influencer seeding program around key product launches
  • Key owner of influencer partner contracts, negotiating pricing, term agreements
  • Create marketing campaign plans and partner with internal teams, external agencies and retail partners to ensure successful execution of global strategies
  • Manage the Brand’s ongoing global assortment, sku lists and asset library
  • Manage daily marketing operations, including but not limited to sample inventory management, invoice processing, budget tracking and product orders and tracking
  • Manage creative assets with our photographer and videographer and internal team
  • Own the relationship with all 3rd party marketing/digital related agencies
  • Create and own necessary artwork alone or in partnership with graphic designer

Use SFCC to manager and own: digital assets, campaigns and promotions, innovation, pricing and coding

Skills

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

10 + years of marketing experience working with a consumer product sold both online and in-store

10 + years executing e-commerce sales strategy (shipify) including but not limited to online ad buys and google analytics, and blog or other content management efforts

7 + years working in beauty/skincare/color

7+ years working with/creating digital artwork/imagery for e-commerce

Excellent verbal and written abilities

History of being a self-starter and ability to thrive in an informal, entrepreneurial settings

Strong analytic and quantitative skills – ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs

Excellent writing, editing, presentation, communication and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Outstanding multitasking, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Understanding of customer, consumer and market dynamics

Strong MS Office skills

Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task

Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to grow and learn within a small team environment
