Job Summary
The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting all Global Marketing brand initiatives to support new launches and ongoing business. This position supports the development and implementation of Global Marketing plans to drive long term profitable growth and build strong brand equity.
- The Manager, Global Marketing is responsible for supporting all Global Marketing initiatives for new launches and ongoing business. This position is responsible for implementing the new launch planning process, as well as driving cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Packaging, Creative, Merchandising, Education, and Communication in the development and implementation of cohesive global strategies. This position also supports the development and implementation of Global Marketing plans, strategy decks, and Marketing presentations to drive long term profitable growth and build strong brand equity
- This position supports the Director, Global Marketing in various brand analyses projects, strategic initiatives, and brand communications
- Position reports to the Director, Global Marketing
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
MARKETING (LAUNCHES & CORE)
- Performs competitive business analysis and launch trends in preparation for new launches and yearly innovation process
- Prepares marketing and concept briefs for key departments (Creative, Photography, Copy)
- Supports creation of all launch suite briefs (brand brochure, PowerPoint template, smoothie cards, etc.)
- Supports 360 review of key departmental assets in the creative-ops process including but not limited to: packaging artwork, press releases, social media assets, digital assets, blog posts and education and training assets
- Manages forecasts, orders and inventory of marketing swag and collateral
- Coordinate and execute PR and influencer mailers (as needed/directed by PR and Influential Marketing teams) and corporate mailers (corporate gifts, corporate meetings, market meetings, internal des/room drop and holiday gifting)
- Maintain and communicate Global Key Dates tracker to teams
- Coordinate and oversee requests for lab samples
- Leads a select minor launch each season
BRAND STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
- Support all Global Marketing strategic presentations (e.g., Retailer presentations, Sales Conferences, Regional Meetings, Pricing Analysis)
- Closely monitor global competitive landscape
Qualifications & Competencies
- College degree, 5+ years of work experience in marketing (cosmetics preferred)
- Keen attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback
- Strong oral, written, communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of competitive marketplace, digital, and in-store environment
- A passionate, energetic team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to balance analytics with creativity in a strategic thought process
- Ability to work independently and utilize sound judgment
- Software expertise – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Salary
$84,841 - $121,856/ year
