Who you are (what we’re looking for/responsibilities):
The Social Media Coordinator will work directly under the Content and Curriculum Coordinator to plan, schedule and maintain all of our customer social group accounts for our brands V Shred & Sculpt Nation.
The SMC will act as our eyes and ears on a granular level. This position will be responsible for maintaining a high frequency posting schedule, maintaining an organized content library, and interacting with our members on a more personal level on a day to day basis. The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for social media communities, and the drive to grow in a fast paced company.
What you do (responsibilities/qualifications):
- Work with Content and Curriculum Coordinator to implement an optimal posting schedule considering best posting times and customer engagement metrics
- Schedule social posts within all Facebook and social communities as outlined by the Content and Curriculum Coordinator.
- Report reviews and feedback from customers to Content and Curriculum Coordinator to identify opportunities to improve both engagement and revenue across groups.
- Ensure and monitor all social media content to be optimized per group, engaging to the defined audience and adheres to branding, voice and style.
- Responsible for managing and organizing our content library for all social assets with proper naming conventions, storing and distribution.
- Execute community initiatives and programs.
- Monitor campaigns and analyze community response using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor daily content to ensure it’s informative, appealing and aligned with our company goals and initiatives.
- Monitor group for quality assurance
- Act as a liaison between the trainer team and all content initiatives including content training, posting, live schedules, and other projects as they arise.
- Assisting Content and Curriculum Coordinator with day-to-day activities.
- Facilitate online conversations with our audience and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Stay current with social media best practices, strategies, industry standards and regulations. Specifically Facebook and Facebook Groups.
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a fast-paced startup or agency setting.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, specifically Facebook groups and best practices for the platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Experience sourcing and managing content development
- Expert knowledge and deep passion for social media communities
- Incentrically motivated and driven
- Possess organization skills and attention to detail
- Basics of social media platforms and softwares, such as Sprout Social, creator studio, airtable, or similar.
Not required but a plus:
- Experience working in the fitness, nutrition, sports nutrition, or health and wellness field. (++)
- Experience managing and working with influencers (++)
