Social Media Coordinator
Imagine Exhibitions, a pioneer in global traveling entertainment and immersive experiences, is looking for a dynamic and skilled Social Media Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day management of social media campaigns for a variety of high-profile traveling exhibitions and company projects. The Social Media Coordinator will support the Social Media Manager in developing and creating engaging content for multiple social channels, maintaining customer service, and using analytics to drive a successful social media strategy. This position is full-time, hybrid remote, and based in the Atlanta office.
About the Role:
The Social Media Coordinator reports to the Social Media Manager and will assist on the social media accounts for Imagine Exhibitions, REAL BODIES at Bally’s, Dino Safari: A Walk-Thru Adventure, Harry Potter™: The Exhibition, Nat Geo’s Rarely Seen, The Cabinet of Curiosities and The Lock, and Discovering King Tut’s Tomb exhibitions. Using their knowledge of social media trends, the Social Media Coordinator will create various forms of content and evaluate what performs best while working with the Social Media Manager to improve each channel’s strategy and performance. This is a customer-facing role who will also monitor and address inbound customer service inquiries related to each exhibition as needed.
This role will be an active member of the marketing team at Imagine Exhibitions, who is responsible for optimizing ticket sales and revenue across our entire portfolio. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing or content creation on behalf of entertainment, attractions, or visitor-serving organizations/events. A successful candidate will show a drive for learning about social media marketing and an adeptness at juggling multiple projects simultaneously while responding to new opportunities with clear eyes, a command of social media knowledge and tools, and a can-do attitude. At Imagine Exhibitions, our team members are the “secret sauce” to our success, so the candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude.
This position will work closely with content creators across the Marketing department including those who work in web and email development, brand management, graphic design, and communications, in full service of achieving an integrated workflow maintaining the standards of intellectual property of Imagine Exhibitions and its partners. This role will also be part of the creative development process to ensure that all marketing assets meet partner and studio guidelines.

This position requires a solid foundation and knowledge of social media. Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Social Media Manager to create a content strategy for each social media account then execute the creation of that content.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, news, and blogs).
- Short-form video editing skills (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Experience in storytelling through social media, user-generated content, and influencer marketing
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, grow followers, and increase ticket sales.
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels for different properties.
- Collaborate with marketing team to maintain social media plans in the overall content calendar.
- Attend events during work hours and occasionally after hours to produce live social media content.
Required Competencies:
- 1-2+ years in Social Media Management for entertainment, attractions, and/or a visitor-serving organization.
- Must be fluent in Meta, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, with current knowledge of trends and best practices. Experience in TikTok, WhatsApp, WeChat a bonus.
- Knowledge of Sprout or similar scheduling tools and Meta Analytics for optimization techniques.
- Experience working with influencers and influencer marketing (unboxing events/ discount codes).
- Excellent copywriting and proofing skills.
- Must possess a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Photography, video capture and editing skills.
- A passion for delivering world-class customer experiences from start to finish.
A successful candidate will use their exceptional content creation and organizational skills to manage a workflow of marketing campaigns for several exhibitions to keep all parties informed of progress at multiple checkpoints.
How you’ll create impact:
- Support Social Media Manager and overall Marketing team on the development and execution of consumer-facing marketing communications.
- Co-maintain a multi-channel content calendar to keep social media posts on track.
- Maintain an overall knowledge and understanding of marketing priorities and deliverables, including status of projects and approvals, to provide updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in planning the social media strategy for new exhibitions in partnership with the Marketing team.
