JOB SUMMARY:

The Influence & Social Media Manager for Erborian USA is responsible for growing and nurturing Erborian’s community on social media to drive brand awareness and lead the buildout of Erborian in the United States. She/he oversees influence, community management, social media content creation and is the key liaison for Sales & Marketing department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Community lead & influence (organic):

  • Build a community with a strong focus on Tik Tok using qualitative metrics and day to day community management.
  • Identify new influencers for outreach and maintain relationships with influencers
  • Update the brand fans database
  • Manage product mailouts and head office orders
  • Look for new processes/tools or opportunities to optimize influencers outreach
  • Engage with content creators
  • Answers comments and likes

Partnerships (paid) & other PR activities

  • Work with the PR agency to ensure press and influencer push throughout the year
  • Organize paid partnerships when relevant (press release writing, organizing and attending influencer/agent appointments, answering press queries, proactively pitching product features to maximize placement opportunities)
  • Maintain current relationships and develop further key press & influencer contacts across all media channels

Social media content creation

  • Create and post engaging content consistent with our brand DNA and in line with Tik Tok trends
  • Ensure a strong link with digital team and other countries to collect/share best practices and create content synergies
  • Work hand in hand with Central Digital Media Team to optimize social paid (media) activity

Monitor and analyze performances

  • Monitor and optimize our monthly report to track performances
  • Follow-up budget on a monthly basis
  • Benchmark trends and share them with the whole US team

All other duties or projects as assigned

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

EMV/Return rates on product seedings

Social media community growth (number of followers, brand fans database)

Engagement indicators (views, likes, comments etc)

UGC growth

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media and influence, within the beauty industry, in a brand or an agency.
  • Proven success developing and managing a Tik Tok community. Successful track record of elevating brands and influencers alike.
  • Having a strong personal presence on social media could be an additional asset.

SKILLS

  • Strong experience with community lead and influencers.
  • Strong proficiency with social media (especially Tik Tok) and community management.
  • Strong communication skills and strong ability to interact with content creators, external agencies and other partners.
  • Negotiation skills to adapt financial conditions of paid partnerships according to operations and profiles.
  • Self-starter who thrives inside a start-up environment
  • Wide degree of creativity
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Results-oriented mindset to best manage the evolution of the activity and to be able to clearly share results with the team and top management.
  • Ability to deliver in a timely manor

PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Remote position – presence at the office when needed for projects, or every 2 to 3 months to meet the rest of the team
  • Potential travel needed to build up relationship with influencers

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000 for the NYC region (based on skills, experience and with differentials applied if outside of NY).
