The Role

We are looking for creative rockstars to help with content for our fast growing brand. As our Social Media manager and Content Creator You will play a pivotal role in visually communicating who we are, how to integrate our products day to day, help customers imagine life with Kola Goodies, and also communicate what we stand for in a fun, engaging manner.

You have an awesome eye for detail, creative ideas, and a passion to make wellness fun and less boring, blend history and heritage with content effortlessly in innovative ways. You must be obsessed with wellness, pop culture, internet trends, and skilled in creating relevant content that connects with our community.

You are perfect if:

  • You love creating various types of content for social media across channels like TikTok, Instagram (Reels + Feed + engaging Stories), Pinterest and you aren’t shy of being in front of the camera if needed
  • You have deep knowledge and understanding of what types of content works and should be created for different channels like TikTok and IG (even if it’s just for personal)
  • You love learning about culture, mixing today’s life with heritage and generational wisdom
  • You love building community and would like to do that in a scalable way
  • You are a self-starter; you identify gaps/opportunities and come to the table with ideas and solutions
  • You are an awesome team player, communicate clearly and proactively
  • You want to manage influencer relations and PR opportunities along with the team
  • Passionate, fun, scrappy and resourceful, risk-taking, no ego, and willing to figure things out

What you would be responsible for:

  • Management of social content - ideation, creation, posting, including short videos for IG reels and TikTok
  • Create creative briefs for Instagram Stories/TikTok/Pinterest to ensure marketing needs are met and assets are created and posted in a timely manner
  • Create short-form video content specifically for TikTok and Instagram Reels and have the ability to identify on-brand content to reshare
  • Work with the team to ideate and create the strategy for monthly content and special campaigns (like holidays or product launches)
  • Reply to comments, DMs within 24 hours in a friendly and engaging manner
  • Select, onboard, and manage relationships with affiliates/ influencer ambassadors and maintain a pipeline of candidates for future ambassador opportunities
  • Identify, coordinate, and provide briefs for external content creators, ensuring the company’s needs are met and projects are competed in a timely manner and within budget
  • Assist with ad hoc marketing projects including photo shoots, community management, events, marketing mailers, etc.
  • Stay on top of social media trends, and execute with relevant, time content for trends
  • Monitor performance metrics weekly/monthly reporting for content and affiliate performance
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all products – their ingredients, sourcing, benefits, and all sustainability practices
  • Initiate and execute fellow brand and organizational partnerships and collaborations
