This role will report to our New York office in a hybrid capacity or can be remote based in select US locations*.

Want to help us transform the early learning experience for families everywhere? Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, the VP of Brand will be responsible for defining BEGIN’s brand strategy to build the world’s leading early learning and development company. This is a transformative role for the company that will help drive awareness of the brand through innovative storytelling and positioning across owned, earned, and paid marketing as well as the end to end consumer journey.
As our head of Brand, you will serve as a seasoned brand leader who has a strong creative sensibility, appreciates the balance of both art and science in brand development, and leverages consumer insights, data and analytics to help inform decisions. You will act as a brand evangelist for the internal teams and ensure the brand is appropriately manifested across all external expressions. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, strategic and business-oriented creative leader. This individual will be a bridge between business and creative and have a progressive approach to brand.
You will:
- Develop and introduce a cohesive global brand identity and architecture for the BEGIN brand and its product brands across the consumer journey
- Leverage the brand identity and ensure it is flawlessly executed across all marketing and product touchpoints by influencing and partnering with cross-functional groups and marketing teams
- As a creative thought leader, this position hosts brainstorms, reverse engineers virality, and leads the creation of share-worthy moments for our brands
- Leverage industry best practices, customer insights, and data to recommend new channels to test and to grow BEGIN and its sub-brands’ awareness to over 50%
- Oversee an innovative, differentiated owned strategy across multiple programs and activations including, but not limited to organic social, UGC, and brand campaigns, brand partnerships, ambassador and community development.
- Oversee a strategic PR strategy and collaborate with external PR partners to develop an earned media strategy for both business and consumer press
- Plan a full-funnel paid brand marketing activation strategy across, but not limited to channels like sponsorships, experiential marketing, ambassador programs, influencer marketing, etc.
- Develop a cohesive year-round content and messaging plan including tent poles moments to drive business objectives across all consumer touchpoints.
Must Haves:
- You have at a minimum 15+ years of relevant working experience; building a brand from the ground up across earned, owned, and paid marketing channels, preferably at a hyper-growth, fast-paced organization
- You are a leader who has built and inspired brand teams, and full organizations alike, that delivery extraordinary results —someone who people want to learn from, work with, and are inspired by
- Experience in traditional brand marketing in addition to a proven track record in successfully launching unique and innovative owned strategies to break through market clutter
- You have developed or worked closely on successful brand activations from social community building, ambassador programs and content marketing that drives brand awareness and engagement
- Have a passion and appreciation for marketing to parents, specifically moms, and creating a better future for children through learning

Salary MIN: $215,00 MAX: $240,000. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location and other relevant factors. We're able to answer any additional question you may have as you move through the interview process.
