Beekman 1802 is searching for a Head of Social! The Head of Social is accountable for achieving KPIs that drive awareness and support broad sweeping company goals.

Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Social will rethink and grow our social presence and community. We are looking for someone who can accelerate our community growth and develop and implement a cohesive cross-platform social and influencer strategy. You will have ideally built a world-class social presence for another brand and are passionate about the beauty/skincare space. You will be ready to be accountable for all social + influencers – from planning to measurement – and you thrive knowing the impact of social on brand awareness and sales. This person should be a jack of all social trades.

This position is fully remote, with occasional travel as needed (less than 10%). While you may work from anywhere in the US, we require our remote employees operate on either CST or EST for continuity of business operations.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in Content, Social, Influencer for a consumer brand (in-house or agency) within the beauty/skincare space
  • 1+ years managing people
  • Proven experience in developing and executing a cohesive social strategy that led to strong growth, engagement of a brand social community across multiple social platforms
  • Expert in social and digital landscape across all platforms, Instagram, TikTok, FB, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
  • Proven experience building and launching an influencer or affiliate program that led to high engagement and clear understanding of how influencer marketing drives sales
  • Experience effectively managing resources and budgets – you know how to optimize your resources to achieve the best results
  • Highly KPI driven with strong analytics skills
  • Ability to work with Marketing, Creative, Executive Team and develop big picture strategy to grow the Beekman 1802 brand love
  • Creative skills to develop new content & out-of-the-box thinking a must
  • Ability to be resourceful and scrappy while working within brand guidelines to produce high-quality in-house content
  • Be a creative problem-solver and strategic thinker with an ability to understand and leverage detail-oriented and analytical issues
  • Experience with social and influencer tools like NetBase, Rival IQ, and Traackr

Position Description

  • Constantly propose fresh creative ideas to grow the Beekman neighborhood while analyzing data and consumer trends to identify relevant opportunities that challenge status quo
  • Serve as a thought leader in Social Media and share best practices, general guidance, and the implications of platform updates with broader teams
  • Develop content and campaign strategies to breakthrough that are new, better, different to compete with total skincare social landscape
  • Lead the vision, ideation, analysis, and execution of Beekman’s social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales
  • Drive accelerated growth on existing social media channels and determine the optimal mix of new and existing platform launch strategies
  • Build short term and long-term vision for influencer or affiliate program that aggressively and sustainably grows the Beekman 1802 community, overall brand awareness, and drives sales to retailer partners and DTC
  • Ensure our social media strategy aligns with our brand values and actively promote CSR through social
  • Bring a strong understand of the marketing funnel and apply your expertise across Beekman 1802’s content strategy, influencers and paid ads
  • Work hand in hand with brand marketing and creative to develop compelling and engaging brand assets and storytelling to drive new launches, support core hero products and bring brand storytelling to life
  • Develop standards, expertise, and best practices within Social to inform and scale across all marketing and channel platforms
  • Build upon our social analytics platform, survey competitive landscape to share insights and trends to create data-driven content.
  • Define goals and KPIs for social platforms, ensuring they are being met and scaled
  • Manage all social budgets ensuring we optimize and spend wisely (bring in new partners as necessary) & find efficiencies to reinvest in media
