Reporting to the Global Innovation Activation Leader, the QuickFire Challenge Engagement Lead is responsible for developing strategies for brand building, digital engagement, and channel growth for QuickFire Challenges. The QuickFire Challenge Engagement Lead will work in partnership with the Director of Sourcing Innovation to develop go to market strategies to support the mission of Johnson & Johnson Innovation. In this role, the Lead is responsible for supporting external engagements that advance our business objectives, drive awareness and advance organizational reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall management and accountability of Johnson and Johnson Innovation QuickFire Challenge external engagement globally
  • Drive awareness of QuickFire Challenge brand’s value proposition
  • Manage ongoing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage with Global Corporate Affairs colleagues to support joint-initiatives and amplify messaging
  • Grow brand awareness, QuickFire Challenge applications, and demand generation via CRM, paid digital advertising, analyst and influencer engagement
  • Lead and leverage QuickFire Challenge presence at large regional conferences (sponsorship, speaking engagements, event planning, advertisements, booth, speakers, etc.)
  • Review, edit, and account for all internal and external QuickFire Challenge published JJI content
  • Track, analyze and report ROI for digital, social, programmatic and special project metrics to ensure alignment with business requirements/objectives
  • Manage QuickFire Challenge strategic marketing and communications budget, including forecasting monthly/quarterly spend and year-end reporting
  • Support JJI corporate identity through internal and external work (electronic and hardcopy newsletters, portal, external websites, external brochures, presentations, social media channels, SOPs, etc.)
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline is required.

Required

Experience and Skills:

  • A proven performer with a minimum of 7 years of brand/product marketing
  • Team leadership and management experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and/or consultant/agency industry experience
  • Experience developing program content and advertising
  • Experience in strategy development and management of social media
  • Experience leveraging strong analytical skills to shape and pivot strategies
  • Experience in budget forecasting and planning
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • E-marketing, social media, and digital marketing experience
  • Must be detail orientated and have strong personal leadership skills

Preferred

  • Experience within a healthcare setting or industry association
  • Experience working with and managing vendors, consultants, and budgets
  • Experience in event and customer relationship management tools (Splash, Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.) and online tools

The base pay range for this position is $112,000 to $168,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
