Book of the Month is looking for a highly organized, data-driven and ambitious coordinator to assist with initiatives across marketing channels and help drive our growth. This is a great opportunity to get real hands-on experience contributing to a D2C marketing organization.

Responsibilities

You will work across several different aspects of marketing over time, depending on the needs of the business. Across all areas of marketing, you will:

  • Gather, organize/manipulate, and analyze data to report on marketing initiatives and recommend next steps
  • Build and schedule marketing campaigns
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed project plans, trackers, and testing roadmaps
  • Communicate with relevant team members and external partners to ensure accurate, excellent, and on time execution of projects
  • Partner with the Creative team to plan or produce content

In this role, you will apply these skills across several of the below areas with the potential to grow and rotate into more:

  • Build, proof, and report on ads across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google
  • Assist in the management of the ongoing influencer program, including scouting, negotiating, coordinating content creation, approving content to post, and reporting on performance
  • Work cross-functionally and with freelancers to produce video and audio content for our podcast, Virtual Book Tour, and other audio/visual projects
  • Research, source, and communicate with vendors to develop non-book items for our Blue Box Boutique and other promotional projects
  • Assist in evaluating and coordination for media buys

Requirements

  • Extremely detail-oriented and resourceful
  • Highly analytical; uses data regularly to drive decisions
  • 1-2 years experience in marketing, consulting, or business analytics
  • Able to prioritize work effectively while juggling multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated to grow and learn
  • Flexible to take on new projects as they arise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fan of new release fiction

Base salary range between: $60,000 - $80,000
