Digital Content Creator

Position Objective

Responsible for content planning & creation for social media platforms, primarily focusing on Facebook and IG. This position reports to the Senior Director, Editorial & Brand Content, and is responsible to drive the content creation process from concepting, storyboarding through editing, creation, and on-going performance monitoring. Responsible for development of the social content strategy in line with overall traffic and revenue goals.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Photographing and capturing sales driving social media content

• Maintain consistency with aesthetic and tone of voice across different social media channels

• Collaborate with the web, marketing, creative and communications teams to proactively propose a social media calendar, based off the brand content calendar

• Be present on set during shoots on location during editorial shoots and in studio shoots.

• Capture behind-the-scenes footage.

• Understand the analytics for the content and how to translate findings into actionable go-forward plans.

• Attend in store and company events and capture live social media content

• Communicate with store managers, stylists and buyers regarding picks, client feedback, hot styles, etc.

• Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers.

• A deep understanding of how to leverage social media as a tool to inspire conversion, drive sales, and ignite quality community growth

• Manage budgets and bookings for externals (models, hair & makeup, stylists, etc.)

Required Skills

• 3 years of professional photography experience in the fashion Industry.

• Strong portfolio that demonstrates digital content.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent digital media editing tools, Excel, and Outlook

• Direct experience using social media management tools a plus

• Understanding of the social media landscape, audience behaviors and stand-out digital content across various platforms and formats

• Comfortable with traveling up to 50% of your time for work

• Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask

• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results

• This position in based in LA working in our Culver City office
