The Opportunity

We are seeking a Vice President of Digital Engagement to lead our global strategic digital marketing efforts. We’re looking for someone who can bring an innovative approach to the space and create a vision to elevate and enhance our premium brand content to engage kids, shopper and collector audiences alike.

The Vice President will have direct responsibility over all digital marketing levers surrounding Social Media, Influencer and YouTube Strategy as well as Creative Development and Production for these platforms. The team has direct impact on the US market and works closely with global commercial partners on digital playbooks. Your key partners include US Media & Marketing, the Global Brand Team, Global Commercial teams and Global Business Insights.

What Your Impact Will Be

Create vision and strategy of Digital Engagement Group across the globe, while providing digital thought leadership and advocacy to the organization focusing on top and mid funnel, with a strong retail product conversion mindset

  • Proactively engage with external partners and stay on the pulse of new trends and platforms to inform future engagement strategies
  • Partner closely with the global media team to strategize paid media plans with the highest ROI
  • Socialize digital growth strategies and investments, communicating regularly across divisions and with executive leadership to secure budget and resources
  • Implement data-driven KPI briefing and tracking to influence strategy with Brand partners. Leverage Global Business Insights team to ensure digital analytics are shared across teams and that digital performance is tracking to plan.
  • Collaborate with Brand partners when translating global to regional strategies and executions
  • Deliver premium content and campaigns that align with the company’s long-term goals
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, creators and partners, negotiating effective deals and scope while advocating the best path forward for the company and our brands
  • Maintain awareness of brand health across markets
  • Foster a culture of engagement and collaboration across divisions while continuing the momentum of the team
  • Be the digital champion of Social, YouTube, Influencer for the organization
  • People manage a large, high-performing and ambitious team of digital specialists and creatives

Essential Skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Highly advanced knowledge of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok while continuing education of other platforms to further our brand goals
  • Proven ability to utilize YouTube to elevate brand relevance and capture audiences
  • Proven ability working with Development and Production teams to concept and deliver compelling short and long-form digital content series.
  • Ability to exert personal influence, build relationships, and collaborate effectively with key internal / external stakeholders along with selling investments to all levels of leadership, including the CEO
  • Ability to make consistently sound judgments in a constantly changing and increasingly complex cultural landscape
  • Proven record developing high-performing teams and building corporate capabilities, with an ability to partner with HR on structure and recruiting
  • Impact and Influence ability to inspire individuals on team and cross-functionally, effectively coach through obstacles and sell-in new ideas and solutions
  • Key strength in data-driven analytics, demand creation & paid media acumen
  • Strong financial acumen with proven ability to manage and make hard calls against large, multi-brand budget
  • Ideally 14+ years’ related digital marketing experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, luxury brands, family entertainment or agency

Bonus Credentials

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Experience creating and marketing content for Kids and Families
  • Experience with CPG or Retail business models

The position is based in El Segundo, CA and will be expected to be in office with some regularity.
