Summary

Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We are responsible for the development and execution of world-class communications in support of Apple's business goals.


Apple’s Worldwide (WW) Marcom team is looking for an experienced marketing communications professional to provide strategic and executional leadership across our consumer marketing communications.


The Brand Manager will join an established team of Producers and Creative Directors who work across the Marcom functional teams (Apple Retail, Interactive, Events, Channel and Advertising), and with other Business Partners (PR, Product Marketing, etc.) to help lead, develop, and implement integrated marketing efforts.


We are seeking an enthusiastic communications professional who can contribute in a team environment. This position requires a self-motivated, flexible individual with strong communication and organizational skills. Someone who can navigate ambiguity with confidence, and an influencer who can work cross-functionally while rolling up their sleeves to deliver world-class work alongside a wide-reaching Marcom team.


Key Qualifications

You have 7-10 years of experience working in marketing communications with a proven record of developing effective creative solutions to business problems.


You are thoughtful and dedicated to making the complex, simple.


You are able to provide leadership to a team of producers, creative directors, and strategists to plan, develop, and implement marketing communications efforts.


You can establish trust, credibility, and influence across multiple partners in a highly matrixed organization and are comfortable being a key point of contact to ensure seamless integration across teams.


You use good judgment to prioritize and make effective decisions for product categories based on the goals of the group.


You have a deep understanding of strategy and can articulate product positioning and corresponding creative decisions with confidence to cross-functional partners.


You have experience supporting, understanding, and improving the creative process while balancing the needs of a creatively driven organization.


You are resourceful, adaptable and results oriented with a positive attitude, and the ability to contribute in a team environment.


You possess a sharp eye for detail and consistency.


You are inherently curious, always learning, and interested in new technologies, opportunities and ways of working.


Description

You will help lead and drive the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing communications for products at Apple, and provide leadership for all deliverables in our global product communications.


Collaborate with Creative Directors, Producers, Writers, Designers, and Planners, and work across Marcom functional groups, including Design, Interactive, Retail, Channel, Advertising, and GEO teams.


Act as a leader within the product group to provide creative solutions across many categories, including product launch support, social campaigns, seasonal campaigns, roadmap planning, and platform development.


Work with key partners within Apple (WW Product Marketing, PR, Design, Human Interface, etc.) to ensure alignment on key initiatives.


Collaborate with and mentor the team's Content Managers, and partner with Project Managers, Advertising Managers, and GEO Producers to create successful marketing communications work.


Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
