Truly is experiencing explosive growth, and we are searching for a Head of Growth Marketing to oversee and manage the digital marketing teams and coordinate with other areas of the business (Operations and Retail) to enable us to continue this momentum and growth journey!
As Head of Digital Marketing your core responsibility will be to achieve revenue growth through continuously improving and executing the digital marketing / growth strategies across all digital marketing teams. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A successful candidate will be able to show their proven experience against the key responsibilities of this role:
- Developing and implementing marketing experimentation, segmentation, and attribution frameworks in support of digital DTC marketing across all digital marketing platforms and disciplines (Paid Social: Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.; SEM; SEO; CRO; CDN; Display/Programmatic; etc.)
- Planning and executing the end-to-end digital marketing strategy (including customer acquisition, propensity modeling, client marketing, etc.) across multiple digital marketing areas, including growth/paid performance marketing, social, influencer, organic/content, retention (SMS/push/loyalty), affiliate, native, and others
- Launching experiments and providing data-driven, analytically rigorous insights to test different channels and iterate on the digital marketing strategy
- Implementing, managing, and improving KPIs across all digital channels
- Owning analytics and data science functions and tracking detailed campaign data against KPIs
- Forecasting and planning financial outcomes for monthly/annual budget goals and executing against said goals
- Working closely with the product and customer support teams to improve conversion across the funnel
- Building teams from scratch and growing existing teams while fostering a collaborative, data-driven, and growth-focused culture
EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of digital marketing and growth experience, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing digital marketing teams from the ground up
- Deep understanding of conversion funnel optimization, with the ability to run analytically-rigorous experiments and make objective data-driven decisions
- Experience with growth marketing for products with a complex GTM and a multi-step user journey
- Experience recruiting, leading, and managing a high-performing growth marketing team
- Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution
- An effective communicator who can clearly articulate decisions and mobilize support for key initiatives
- You must have a deep knowledge of paid Facebook and Google ads and conversion funnels.
- Excellent data analysis skills to help your team of media buyers derive insights from the data
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF:
- You don't have in-depth personal experience running digital ads on Facebook and/or Google.
- You haven't mastered the use of multiple landing pages, upsells, conversion tactics, etc for high-converting products.
- You are not comfortable with ambiguity, or thinking from first principles
- You do not enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- You are not a self-starter or you don't have an entrepreneurial mindset to put the company first and do what needs to be done for Truly to succeed
- You do not enjoy working with data or using evidence to drive your decision making process
