In partnership with the Content Studio Creative Director, Brand Teams, and Creative Partners, the Content Studio Senior Manager oversees the development of Brand campaigns (ATL & BTL) from brief to delivery. This function entails aligning all stakeholders around a common creative brief, defining campaign strategy, and ensuring deliverables match Brand luxury execution standards. The Content Studio Senior Manager develops infrastructure and operations for the creative team, ensuring timeliness, budget compliance, efficient communication flow and project prioritization. The Content Studio Senior Manager contributes to the Studio missions (elevating creative execution, optimize lead time and cost efficiencies), in alignment with MHUSA’s strategy.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Development of Key Creative Campaigns
- Lead creative project kick offs, brainstorms, and review all creative briefs
- Align all stakeholders (Marketing Team, CC&I, Commercial team, Purchasing, Legal, Creative freelancers) around a common campaign strategy and ensure the creative team deliverables match brand luxury standards
- Write and deliver creative pitches decks, ensuring alignment on budget and timeline
- Support in copy writing taglines for KV’s
- Lead and own the budget negotiation and legal processes with all creative partners and agencies
- Operate as a Project Manager, sharing and monitoring all project schedules, deliverables and KPIs
- Oversee the negotiation of image rights and ensure the upkeep and organization of the brand imagery database
- Manage all pre-production (overseeing logistics, ensure shots list) and post-production flow
- Be on site for photo and video shoots (approximately 4 days per month), ensuring a successful shoot and providing guidance, if required
- Support the team with design production, if needed
- Maintain successful relationships with agency business partners and other third-party stakeholders to continually ensure their commitment to delivering brand objectives
Content Studio Processes and Infrastructure
- Continuously design and evolve processes and workflows to increase team efficiency and success
- Manage project oversight and operations, including the development, implementation, and oversight of creative department workflow strategies, as well as project assignments in collaboration with the Creative Director
- Oversee KPI tracking and reporting. Prepare and deliver quarterly business reports assessing Studio performance and anticipated needs for upcoming quarter. Draft recommendations for Studio staffing and equipment
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships internally across the brand and MHUSA teams
- Be a respected player within MHUSA and work closely with cross functional teams
Leadership
- Provide strategic leadership, tactical direction, and development support to direct report, inspiring peak performance and driving results to optimize impact on Studio’s objectives
- Lead the development and evolution of collaborative ways of working across all key stakeholders
- Foster team culture within the Content Studio team and across the CC&I department to capture synergies
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
Professional Experience
- 7+ years of progressive marketing and/or design experience, preferably in wines/spirits or consumer packaged goods marketing
Practical/Technical Knowledge
- Strong Brand strategy skills, expertise on Luxury goods & cultural trends
- Extremely organized, strong attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to manage stakeholders and reach alignment
- Highly adaptable with the ability to set and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Outstanding copy writing skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong understanding of the creative process is required
