Social Media Engagement Coordinator
Antenna is looking for a Social Media Engagement Coordinator to join the team of one of our clients. This is a full-time contract role that is fully remote. This contract will last for 12 months. In this role, you will work to further establish the client's brand social media presence across existing and emerging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Increase brand relations, presence, and equity through owned social channels with content that aligns the brands to relevant, timely trends and conversations
- Provide social channel expertise, guidance on best practices, media formats, and placements to impact overall social channel strategy, planning, content development, plan execution, and performance
- Drive earned reach across influencer, gen pop culture, UGC, and other approaches to expand our brands’ reach and relevance among key audiences and demographics
- Stay on top of the latest social media trends/pivots and explore new platforms for brands to responsibly expand their social media presence
- Leverage BrandWatch / Tracker and other social listening pages to monitor trends, keywords, accounts to actively engage with, and communicate with the brand team on opportunities
- Partner with the Global Marketing Center to identify key trends, hashtags, keywords, influencers, and UGC for opportunities to engage, interact and increase brand equity within shared spaces, while continuing to look for new opportunities for the brand(s)
- Work with cross-functional team members (e.g., R&D, creative/agency partners) to recommend and develop industry-leading social creative assets
- Schedule, post, analyze and moderate organic social posts across social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others as they emerge
- Monitor owned social media channels, moderate and respond to comments, escalating product feedback/issues to internal teams
- Proactively drive conversations between the brand and its social community where relevant, ensuring brand voice and quality standards are met during these interactions
- Proactively engage with influencers, brands, celebrities, and athletes by writing comments, DMs and reactions to extend the brand’s reach with target consumers beyond owned channels.
- Keep a pulse on the category/brand conversations, content performance, and trends
- Analyze social listening and owned social media performance data to create quarterly and ad-hoc reports on organic post activity and brand sentiment
- Use insights to make recommendations to drive further audience growth and engagement
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to plan and produce technically sound communications projects and campaigns that address business and/or marketing issues identified by client and customer contacts
- Ability to provide assistance and guidance to co-workers, team members, and suppliers
- Have advanced knowledge of communication technologies and processes
- Possess administrative skills to execute communications projects, monitor project budgets, apply policies, or produce standard reports
- Ability to Initiate action to design, develop and implement new or improved projects or processes
- Can lead the implementation of problem identification and resolutions
