Director of Influencer Marketing (Hybrid)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic influencer marketing expert with experience creating viral campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, etc. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of the beauty landscape and Gen-z culture with a proven track record for creating campaigns that drive consumption.
Your Role
AF is in search of a Director of Influencer Marketing, to spearhead the development of high-performing influencer campaigns and overall strategic initiatives across the community engagement space for 2 brands. You have a deep knowledge of creators and communities that speak to the gen-z beauty landscape. You have the ability and expertise in content effectiveness measures, helping teams orchestrate the most effective approaches to influencer selection, negotiation, management and results. This role will report to the Chief Brand Officer and work cross-functionally across external vendors, AF’s Social, Brand Marketing, Creative and Campaign teams.

- Oversee influencer and content seeding strategy, ensuring that all campaigns are driving measurable impact on social platforms, cultural conversation and traffic to our external retailers.
- Partner closely and collaboratively with internal departments to develop influencer campaigns that are supporting the larger marketing strategy and vision for each brand. Once a campaign is in motion, leverage real-time insights and pull marketing levers to fuel the campaign.
- Maintain deep knowledge of creators and communities that speak to fans of music & beauty in the gen-z age bracket. Identify, recruit, and foster strong relationships with a wide network of influencers, talent, community leaders, and content creators.
- Oversee creative ideation and content development needed to to launch best-in-class influencer and seeding campaigns for our products and their fans.
- Develop goals/KPIs, strategy, and budget for each influencer campaign. Monitor campaigns in real time to understand effectiveness of strategy, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Create post-mortem analyses for each campaign to make every campaign smarter than the last.
- Report campaign performance weekly, providing actionable insights and campaign updates.
- Execute campaigns at scale, with multiple creator and content accounts posting simultaneously.
- Develop and continually evaluate our roster of influencer and seeding agency partners.

About You
- 7+ years professional experience in influencer/social media marketing.
- Expert knowledge of all current social media and digital platforms, and a proven track record of amplifying content, creating on platform engagement, and driving product
- through a social media lens
- Existing relationships in the influencer and creator space
- Must thrive in a team environment but be able to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong organizational, project management, and decision-making skills with added attention to details and deadlines
