Compensation: $124,549 to $155,686 Annually

The Creator Elevation team plays a critical role in driving Spotify’s strategy around engaging with and retaining audio creators on platform through strategic initiatives. We are looking for a Lead to support the Creator Experience team as the Creator Content business continues to grow. A key driver of Spotify’s growth will be unlocking the advocacy of our priority partners. This position will strategize editorial and creator promotional initiatives that celebrate and recognize creators on and off Spotify’s platform.

The right candidate is passionate about the future of the creator economy, highly organized, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong project management skills, and is able to work with many different types of stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Lead creator elevation vertical, working to identify high-impact creators and building strategies to engage those creators at scale.
  • Research and synthesize market-specific best practices for creator elevation programs and disseminate via internal and external docs & collateral.
  • Partner with Spotify sales teams to strengthen relationships with creators and support upfront marketing agreements via innovative engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with wider Spotify organizations to highlight creators and support their initiatives.
  • This role will be based in Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY

Who you are

  • 10+ years of relevant experience working with creators for marketing or advertising purposes, 2+ years of team management experience.
  • You have experience leading a team.
  • You are comfortable using quantitative and qualitative data to build and drive strategy.
  • You have a deep passion for social platforms, celebrity culture, pop-culture, film & tv, and youth focused entertainment.
  • You are passionate about the evolution of audio and enjoy consuming podcasts and other spoken word content.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and high stakes situations and are comfortable taking accountability for KPIs.
  • The United States base range for this position is $124,549-$155,686, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
