About The Role
Our Vice Presidents at Ogilvy Health PR are responsible for managing the client relationship and brand strategy, along with fostering a positive team culture. They should have demonstrated record of developing and executing successful public relations programs. The ideal candidate comes with an entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in an integrated marketing environment and proactively brings fresh ideas and inspiration to the client and account team. They identify and champion great work and understand the importance of flawless delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Establish and maintain relationships with key health client contacts and ensure that client/agency relationships exist on multiple levels and grow over time
- Provide strategic counsel, develop long-term plans, insights and program recommendations through an understanding of their business, industry competition and relevant media
- Engage leaders across the organization to enhance offerings and counsel to key clients
- Create organic new business growth and identify new business opportunities
- Manage overall financial performance of accounts meeting staff utilization targets
- Manage team to ensure work is appropriately delegated, help nurture and grow staff including conducting performance evaluation process and creating opportunities for professional development
What You’ll Need
- 8-10 years of relevant healthcare communications experience including 5+ years supervisory experience
- Understanding of the regulated healthcare marketplace and its implications for communications
- Digitally fluent with an understanding of the complex, fragmented media landscape and how to bring together cohesive programming for clients
- Appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring creative excellence/output
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Diplomatic and empathetic leadership
- Strong project management, counseling, programming people management and business development skills

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$75,000—$180,000 USD
