We focus on categories where microbial innovations and microbiome-related products will disrupt and capture global market share in the coming years (e.g. oral care, skin care, infant health, etc.). We have built a strong foundation with breakthrough research and strong intellectual property, and believe there is a substantial opportunity to emerge as an innovative product line, backed by the most rigorous science.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to help grow Seed’s member base. This role will be a key contributor to acquiring new Seed members at an efficient CAC through channel, creative, and other optimization strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in acquisition across multiple channels and will be able to work cross-functionally with growth partners, creatives, copywriters, compliance, sci-comms and other functions within our ecosystem.
In order to make this magic happen each and every day, we need someone with exemplary abilities to test and learn, communicate the story in the data and an insatiable curiosity to learn, understand the science of our product innovations and join our ecosystem. This role is optimized for growth and learning, so a passion for asking questions and digging deeper is absolutely essential.
Experience in regulated areas of consumer health and science and health-focused products, a major plus.
You
- 5+ years of general marketing experience
- 3+ years of experience in performance marketing
- Experience buying ads on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, SnapChat
- Excellent data analysis skills and comfort working with Excel
- Comfortable collaborating with designers + brand on creative briefs using Jira + Figma
- You have high standards, take ownership of your work, and are invested in the outcome
- You proactively help others and are a team player
- You learn new technology and business software with ease
- You are analytically driven, curious, scrappy, and determined
- You operate with a customer-first orientation
- You employ a test and learn mentality
- You problem-solve with a sense of urgency
- You have excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a high-growth environment
- Experience working in a direct-to-consumer, subscription-based company highly preferred
- It is advantageous to have experience in both agency and in-house companies
What You’ll Do
- Execute campaigns across paid social channels: to include Meta (Instagram + Facebook), TikTok, SnapChat, Pinterest.
- Optimize current campaigns with audience targeting and creatives (including in-house+ influencer whitelisting ads). Constant A/B testing required to share learnings cross-functionally.
- Devise and execute A/B tests, record results, and advise on improvements.
- Provide regular campaign performance updates internally and to external teams.
- Assist in the brainstorming and development of New Ad Briefs each month and request iterations bi-weekly. (This includes Copy, Creative, and Channel-Specific requests)
The annual pay range for this full-time position is $90-$120k + equity + benefits across all US locations (this position is 100% remote-US). Our pay ranges are guided by discipline, level and experience required. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on additional factors, including: your specific location, desired skills/ technical competency, relevant experience and advanced education/ training.
