Manager, Influencer and Content Marketing

REEF is looking for an experienced & driven marketer to build and execute our influencer and content marketing program. This person will be responsible for building and executing the playbook to meet our revenue, awareness, and content creation objectives.

This is an opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the direction and success of this marketing program. Since the team will be small initially, you must be both strategic and someone who loves to get their hands dirty. To start, this role will be a high-impact individual contributor and pending business performance & success, have the opportunity to build a team.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Build and execute influencer marketing playbook that meets revenue, awareness, and content creation objectives
  • Utilize discovery & management platform to recruit & build a variety of advocates (Influencers, Content Creators, Customer Fans & Affiliates), partnering with Brand Team that leverages it for Pros, Ambassadors & more to evaluate if it meets needs to scale
  • Establish goals and KPIs to measure success of the program; oversee tracking live dates and lead reporting of content for real time optimization
  • Write and facilitate creator briefs to drive creator selection, product recommendation, and trend identification
  • Source UGC style content for appropriate digital platforms– part of your job responsibilities will entail sourcing engaging content to be used in emerging platforms like TikTok
  • Manage and deploy influencer and affiliate marketing budget across initiatives
  • Partner with marketing team to enable cohesive, brand-enhancing storytelling through our paid and organic social channels
  • Raise the team’s digital IQ – by keeping up on the latest trends, you will share important trends that REEF can take advantage of to connect authentically with consumers. This will help raise the entire team’s digital intelligence
  • Oversee our influencer strategy execution across gifting, events and activations, and content
  • Execute affiliate marketing, especially as it relates to influencer commissions
  • Manage promo strategy and execution (in partnership with site team)
  • Partner with Sr. Mgr., Site Experience in defining content pillar strategies that meet SEO objectives and lead execution of content (e.g., blog content for REEF.com) and amplification
  • Always-on influencer campaign support - including but not limited to product education and guidelines, values match compliance and legal clearance

Job/Educational Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of social media or other relevant experience
  • Passion for social media, storytelling, and trends
  • Experience in influencer management and content creation with a track record of high impact & creative activations that met or exceeded key KPIs
  • Experience in DTC brands or Ecomm business preferred
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and latest trends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Understanding of media measurement & attribution
  • Understanding of web analytics is a plus
  • College degree from an accredited university
