Job Title: Director, Influencer Marketing (Urban Music)
Your Role
Are you passionate about Hip Hop and R&B music? Do you have a deep knowledge of creators and communities that speak to fans of these genres? Warner Records is in search of a Director of Influencer Marketing, Urban Music to spearhead the development of high-performing influencer campaigns. The position sits within our Digital team and will work cross-functionally with all departments to develop innovative campaigns.
We are looking for a dynamic influencer marketing expert with experience creating viral campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, etc. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of Hip Hop and R&B culture, and a track record for creating campaigns that drive consumption.
Here You’ll Get To
- Oversee influencer and content seeding strategy for urban music, ensuring that all campaigns are driving measurable impact on social platforms, cultural conversation and music streams.
- Partner closely and collaboratively with artists, managers and internal departments to develop influencer campaigns that are supporting the larger marketing strategy and vision for each artist. Once a campaign is in motion, leverage real-time insights and pull marketing levers to fuel the campaign.
- Maintain deep knowledge of creators and communities that speak to fans of urban artists. Identify, recruit, and foster strong relationships with a wide network of influencers, talent, community leaders, and content creators.
- Oversee creative ideation and content development needed to to launch best-in-class influencer and seeding campaigns for our artists and their fans.
- Develop goals/KPIs, strategy, and budget for each influencer campaign. Monitor campaigns in real time to understand effectiveness of strategy, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Create post-mortem analyses for each campaign to make every campaign smarter than the last.
- Report campaign performance weekly to senior staff and managers, providing actionable insights and campaign updates.
- Execute campaigns at scale, with multiple creator and content accounts posting simultaneously.
- Develop and continually elevalute roster of influencer and seeding agency partners.
About You
- 5+ years professional experience in influencer/social media marketing.
- Expert knowledge of all current social media and digital platforms, and a proven track record of amplifying content, creating on platform engagement, and breaking artists through a social media lens
- Existing relationships in the influencer and creator space
- Must thrive in a team environment but be able to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong organizational, project management, and decision-making skills with added attention to details and deadlines
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with both creative- and business-oriented colleagues and partners
- Excellent organizational ability and strong initiative
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance multiple priorities

Job Posting Range
$85,000 to $100,000 Annually
Job Posting Ranges are included for all New York and California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located in NYC and CA. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
