Community Management and Education Lead
We are looking for a licensed Professional Skin Therapist to fill an exciting new role as Community Management and Education Lead (PST). This position will be responsible for delivering education to consumers through digital and in person programs. The Consumer Education Manager will work closely with the Sr. Brand Manager and Social Media Manager to develop campaigns that encompass the rich history of Dermalogica’s education, personalization, and human touch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Social Community Management brand team with online and offline programs (60%)
- Responsible for moderating comments, DMs, inquiries on consumer social channels including, but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
- Foster an engaged community that promotes positive skin health
- Eg: answering consumer questions with personalized skin care routines
- Eg: go live and answer skin q&a questions
- Leverage Social Listening Tools (Dash Hudson, Tribe Dynamics) to monitor trends beyond owned channel
- Collaborate with brand team on content for consumer social channels
- Develop FAQs for social and influencer teams for reference.
- Develop and lead process for Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Quality Control (PQCs)
- Scope of reporting includes, but is not limited to product insights, consumer insights, as well as cultural, industry and competitive
- Responsible for moderating comments, DMs, inquiries on consumer social channels including, but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
- Support Consumer Engagement team with online and offline programs (20%)
- Develop content for digital master class series
- Develop educational but fun and social friendly videos that will engage the Dermalogica online community
- Head PST at brand marketing events
- Develop content for digital master class series
- Support PR team with Influencer events and appointments (20%)
- Fit Skin Fridays
- Influencer Events
- Influencer Facetime consultations
Education and/or Experience:
- Must be a licensed professional skin therapist from the International Dermal Institute
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in skin education or as a professional skin therapist
- A personal interest in social media and marketing
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Other Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be able to collaborate with other departments and execute/amplify messages within social on their behalf as voice of US market
- A flair for story-telling and content development, willingness to be on camera is a plus
- Interest in the skin care, health and beauty industries is required; experience in one or more of these industries is ideal
- Must be detail oriented, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
- Must be team-oriented, but also have the ability to work independently
- Self-starting go-getter
The expected base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
