MARKETING BRAND DIRECTOR

BSB, Brown Sugar Bourbon Flavored Whiskey & NEW RTD, launching Summer 2023

The Brand Director position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Marketing. We’re seeking a highly strategic brand leader that will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and oversee the execution of a long-term vision for the brand and develop programming that drives business growth.

This individual must be a proactive, self-starter skilled at inspiring internal and external partners, and drive collaboration, alignment, and problem-solving. The director needs to be skilled at driving all levers of the P&L, developing annual marketing/commercial plans, and creating breakthrough partnerships and culture plans. Beyond leading BSB Brown Sugar Bourbon Flavored Whiskey, this role is also responsible for a new RTD brand that will launch this upcoming summer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual brand planning process in collaboration with the sales & finance teams as well as key brand stakeholders
  • Develop and oversee the execution of all marketing programs and activations created to achieve brand volume targets
  • Ability to develop positioning, purpose, and target customer for brands and ensure consistency in application across marketing materials
  • Provide clear, strategic direction to the WES Brands Sales & Brand teams, ensuring all activities meet brand standards and have consistent brand communication
  • Spearhead development of brand POS Materials for all points of purchase that drive consumer awareness and engagement
  • Create and manage a brand ambassador sampling program, ensuring data-driven sampling, and merchandising opportunities are maximized
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Identify, establish, and manage relationships with outside vendors, including photographers, agencies, and suppliers
  • Experience in developing effective creative communications and programs (ATL + BTL) across brand platforms
  • Experience managing media budgets; always curious about finding new ways to connect in-culture and drive high return on investment
  • Lead PR, culture, and influencer / partnerships strategy in partnership with team and agency partners
  • Have strong commercial skills with ability to enroll and motivate team & distributor partners
  • Have a passion for the commercial side of the business – understanding motivations for the trade and staying up-to-date on drinks culture.
  • Experience leading the analysis of business results, highlighting clear implications and recommendations
  • Must be highly organized - ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritize and drive to action

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • 8+ years of Marketing Experience
  • Alcohol Beverage Experience Preferred
