Crocs is seeking a Director, Global Brand Partnerships on the global marketing team to unlock memorable brand moments and extending our brand reach and awareness through collaborating with a wide range of brand partners. This role will lead crafting the annual marketing strategy and execution of collaborations, hype partnerships, licenses, SMUs and influencers – finding the right balance of amplifying in-line stories and creating highly tailored product. They will play an integral role in connecting Crocs to current events, social / digital trends, authentic brand partners and talent, and quick-to-market opportunities to continue to position Crocs as an innovator in the collaboration and doer spaces. In addition to being on-top of music, fashion and culture trends, this person must be an established team leader helping to guide multiple managers across various projects simultaneously to get results. This is a key position reporting to the Vice President of Global Marketing, as well as working directly with the Vice President of Brand Partnerships on the product team. They will be responsible for developing and delivering overall partnership marketing strategies inclusive of identifying collaboration and licensing opportunities to strategizing best-in-class global go-to-market campaigns and activations.

Additionally, they will lead the Crocs influencer and ambassador strategy and lead internal teams and external partners to vet and deliver world-class programs across brand and product go-to-market programs, organic activations, and quick to market opportunities. The role will work in a fast paced, insights driven environment, implementing brand partnerships with the goal of increasing brand momentum, acquiring new customers, driving traffic and sell-through of product. They have experience working with agency and talent management and be expertly versed in 360 campaign planning including PR, paid and organic social, digital media, experiential and out of home activations, as well as direct to consumer and wholesale channels, and have experience working with internal and external creative teams. This person will also be responsible for guiding global strategy to align teams in Crocs Tier-One markets including China, Japan, Korea, India, Germany, UK.

What You'll Do

  • Guide leadership and cross functional alignment and supervise the partnership integrated marketing plans to scale business, engage new consumers and drive brand heat and momentum for Crocs
  • Co-create pitch decks in partnership with product teams to support securing collaborations and brand partners
  • Cross-collaborate on a daily and weekly basis with product and merchandising to align on strategic approach and partnership challenges to complete one plan to support the business
  • Acts as key strategic partner for cross functional teams including product, merchandising, and sales channels (eCommerce, Retail, Wholesale/Distributor). Fosters collaborative communication across all groups and drives alignment and standard processes while seeking inputs that will improve program efficacy
  • Co-create with Influencer marketing lead an ownable outstanding vision for how Crocs plays in the influencer space
  • Leads team of direct report(s), ensures productive and positive working environment
  • Ensures alignment with legal on all product, partner and marketing activation plans to stay compliant and within contractual terms for the safety of our brand and partners

What You Bring To The Table

  • BS or BA in communications, public relations, business marketing or related field. MBA or other advanced degree a plus
  • 10+ years marketing experience and 3+ years of direct management experience, highly preferably with a global brand that operates in multiple channels and geographic regions.
  • Footwear industry experience is a strong plus as well as a detailed understanding of the street wear / drop culture space
  • Strong communication abilities, written and verbal
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing teams
  • Excellent project management oversight abilities; can drive forward projects and initiatives in ambiguous and changing environments against timelines
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills for direct reports, also possesses strong ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional partners through influence
  • Understands dynamic and global business organizations; can navigate across sales channels and communications platforms to provide strategic recommendations and action plans that will drive brand awareness and esteem across multiple consumer touch points
  • Experienced in drafting strategic marketing briefs for both integrated and channel-specific programs
  • Advanced analytical skills, ability to translate complex data, trends, and insights into useful strategy
  • Ability to develop, lead and improve upon processes
  • Demonstrates consumer centricity and experience as well as passion for brand building
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload while under pressure
