Summary
The Senior Manager of Recommerce is responsible for delivering on the Recommerce strategy for Carhartt and for leading the initiative to fulfill strategic objectives. This role will be responsible for leading the execution of Carhartt’s Recommerce strategy across business areas. These responsibilities include both building long-term roadmaps to achieve the brand’s Recommerce goals and partnering with and influencing a cross functional internal team and with Carhartt’s external Recommerce partner. The Sr Manager of Recommerce is the visible leader of Recommerce at Carhartt and will be required to champion these efforts both internally and externally.

Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor and develop Recommerce team
- Lead the Carhartt Branded Recommerce strategy as developed by Carhartt’s Sustainability team.
- Drive and oversee the execution of the day-to-day needs, evolution, growth, and awareness of Recommerce at Carhartt by collaborating with internal & external partners (noted below).
- Partner & point person for Recommerce external partner (Trove) and partner and influence Carhartt’s internal cross functional teams (Sustainability, D2C, Brand/Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance) to support the look and feel of the Recommerce website, in-store take back program, media strategy, product flow (from our distribution center, retail stores & directly from consumers) to Trove, and direction on product categories offered.
- Partner with Sustainability team to understand the environmental impacts of services related to circularity .
- Partner with Finance partners on Recommerce business and financial models .
- Budget and KPI Leadership: Oversee team budget by ensuring accurate monthly/quarterly guidance and connect marketing actions/investments to brand leading outcomes/KPI's to drive continuous improvement and align with overall corporate performance.
- Be the expert at Carhartt on Recommerce, educate internal resources and rally cross functional partners to nurture Recommerce as it is starting up: getting it off the ground and growing for success.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Required in Business or Related Field
- Master's Degree Preferred
Required Skills And Experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ apparel industry experience including both project management and leadership roles
- Ability to motivate others, communicate with all levels of organization and influence decisions throughout the organization.
- Ability to support business planning efforts of the business leaders through proactive strategic thinking
- Collaborative influencer who can drive solutions by aligning the right people/teams across multiple disciplines and skillsets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels. including senior leadership, department leadership and collaboration partners.
- Problem solving skills evidenced by demonstrated results in past positions.
- Dedicated, self-motivated, proactive, and high energy individual with strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Ability to manage, thrive and provide clarity in situations of ambiguity.
