Director of Growth
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Growth Marketing to lead Really Good Boxed Wine’s Direct to Consumer efforts. As the Director of Growth Marketing, and our first full-time marketing hire, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy that drives Direct to Consumer customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, while maximizing ROI. You may also work alongside our VP of Sales to build marketing campaigns to support our Wholesale activations.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Really Good Boxed Wine’s executive team on a frequent basis across product, design, operations, sales, and customer success. This is a remote position and will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities:
-Own DTC growth metrics for the business, including new user acquisition, revenue growth, CAC, and retention. Develop and execute a growth marketing strategy across paid and owned channels, including:
-Creative and media buying across paid channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, and others to be determined.
-Email marketing on Klaviyo, including creative, execution, and testing/optimization for automations and one-off campaigns.
-Owned social media strategy and content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
-Affiliate/Brand Ambassador program through ShareASale and direct partner relationships
-Other growth channels as determined by the business (e.g. Influencer, OOH, etc.).
-Conversion Rate Optimization for Shopify store, including development and implementation of landing pages, third-party apps to increase conversion rate and AOV, and other growth optimizations.
-Day to day lead with agencies and other external digital marketing partners
-Analyze customer behavior and market trends to develop & optimize growth initiatives and measure the impact of marketing efforts.
-Develop and manage a budget and negotiate contracts with vendors as needed.
-Opportunity to build and lead a team of growth marketers as Really Good Boxed Wine grows.
Requirements:
-4+ years of growth marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving customer acquisition and engagement for a fast-growing eCommerce company.
-Experience in BevAlc or Food & Beverage a plus, but not required
-Strong belief in a culture of both support and accountability. We have big ambitions, and we all support each other in the process.
-Understanding of startup mentality and willingness to deviate from stated workplan when needed.
-Experience with performance marketing channels, including paid search, paid social, email, video, and other acquisition channels.
-Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop/analyze KPIs and make data-driven decisions.
-Familiarity with analytics and marketing technology, including Google Analytics, AdWords, Meta, and Klaviyo
-Familiarity with and experience building in Shopify’s suite of products and 3rd party apps.
Compensation and Benefits:
-$75,000-95,000 Base Salary, Bonus Plan, Equity
