As a Content Creator on our team, you will be responsible for creating high-converting videos for various platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Your content, style, and overall production should connect with and persuade the target audience. Content can be subjective, but results are not. If you believe that good marketing and getting audiences to take key actions from your content are fundamental to your work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the psychology of our target customer base, 25-40 y.o. well-to-do women who appreciate nice things and quality.
- Research the features, benefits, and unique differentiators of each product we offer
- Evaluate competitors and cross-industry trends in terms of concept, style, and other factors
- Compile and document reference videos and create a reference library
- Suggest scripts and ideas. Build briefs for approval by our marketing team.
- Create shot lists, recruit influencers if needed, and review content performance to design new tests
Requirements
Technical
- Deeply proficient in TikTok, IG Reels, or Youtube Shorts
- Combine relevant aesthetics for our Italic brand with direct response elements
- Deep understanding of psychology driving “thumb-stopper” advertising to grab attention within 3 seconds
Soft Skills
- Commitment to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced, result-driven team for the long term of at least 3 years.
- Low ego and thick skin. Able to take daily critical feedback constructively and iterate to build new tests. Approaches failures as an opportunity to do better.
- Passion for your craft, obsession with videos & social
- Total responsibility for the performance of your content (If it’s working, ask why & templatize it, if it’s not working, figure out how to fix it)
- Strong communication skills. Great team player
- Be efficient, complete high-quality, detailed work on time.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a content creator on TikTok, Youtube, or Instagram
- 3+ years experience with video production
- Experience working with growth or consumer teams preferred
- Strong portfolio of content that have performed well
- Must have experience & enjoy creating significant amounts of video content
