Seer is a remote first agency with team members working across the country. If an office environment is more your style, this position can also sit in Philadelphia or San Diego.
What about you? You'll lead our Product and Data Engineering teams, setting the overall vision, strategy, roadmap, and growth of the operation in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. You'll focus on developing and scaling internal data products in collaboration with senior leadership across the agency to provide innovation solutions for our clients. Your Compensation And Benefits Will Look Like…
- $200,000-$250,000/annually

Here are some highlights of what you’ll be doing…
- You will serve as the Executive for our Product and Data Engineering teams, leading the development of the Product roadmap, owning our proprietary cloud-based platform, as well as internal product initiatives, from strategic planning to product requirements & user testing to product delivery & adoption and finally through to measurable outcomes
- You will ensure alignment of the division with the overall organization vision & objectives and lead development of the division’s quarterly goals
- You will collaborate with and seek feedback from stakeholders throughout the organization as well as clients, while having a pulse on industry trends to fuel the product pipeline, contributing new ideas and helping to refine ideas focused on measurable outcomes
- You will lead prioritization of new products and care & feeding of existing products, grounded in a framework that leverages data and is rooted in ROI to ensure alignment with company vision & objectives
- You will ensure products are being efficiently & effectively built, from cost to performance to security & legal & will understand the questions to ask your teams if there are gaps in performance and delivery
- You will collaborate with Finance on budgeting as the owner of the Product & Data Engineering budgets, and will be a fiscally responsible steward of the budget
- You will serve as the evangelist for our products, responsible for developing and executing on streamlined communication and go to market plans to support all products, ensuring maximum value & ROI
- You will identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, performance and impact across data engineering & product and lead the division to execute against those opportunities
- You will work closely with divisional leadership to develop performance expectations and success metrics, foster a culture of feedback, growth & learning and inspire innovation & creativity
The skills you’ll bring to the table…
- You are a strategic leader across Product & Data Engineering and have successfully led teams (5-10) that have built and shipped internal digital products at scale in a professional services-based organization with clear measurable outcomes
- You’re a change management pro and are able to effectively communicate complex product and engineering solutions to levels of stakeholders
- You have a proven track record of refining, prioritizing and building products that align with an organizations’ vision and objectives with accountability to ROI
- You have working knowledge of programming languages, data and technology tools and platforms, allowing you to guide and advise the team on developing the most efficient and effective products
- You have a firm grasp on budget management and financials for Product and Data Engineering, including ROI models across investments and resource management
- You are a strategic thinker, demonstrating strong ability to get to the ‘why’ behind requests, understand the measurable outcomes, and anticipate roadblocks to effectively lead your team in building the right products in the right way
- You’re a builder & thrive when growing teams from the ground up, with a focus on clear success metrics, high accountability and performance, while empowering your team to learn, grow innovate and solve problems in new ways
- You have contributed to a company’s strategic mission, vision and objectives by serving as a member of a Senior or Executive Leadership Team, acting as an exemplary steward of the company’s values

- You have experience working in a digital agency
- You have experience with a breadth of data analysis & visualization tools
- You have experience with our specific tech stack and data, including Looker, Fivetran, Google Cloud, Wrike, web apps, paid, organic search and analytics data
- You have hands-on experience in programming languages (Python) data modeling (dbt or minimum, SQL) and understand data design for scale
- You have experience partnering with outsourced data engineering teams
- You enjoy thought leadership, presenting at conferences
